NBC Sports Group today announced six special Super Bowl LII Pre-Game Show guests, who will offer unique views on the game, the entertainment, and the big-event surroundings in Minnesota. NBC Sports' coverage of SUPER BOWL LII, featuring the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn., begins with the Super Bowl LII Pre-Game Show on Sunday, Feb. 4, at Noon ET on NBC.
Six-time U.S. Olympic alpine skiing medalist Bode Miller; 2017 Monster Energy Series Champion Martin Truex Jr.; driver of the No. 12 Team Penske Ford Ryan Blaney; lead voice of Telemundo Deportes' 2018 FIFA World Cup coverageAndres Cantor; The Weather Channel's Jim Cantore; and NASCAR on NBC features reporter Rutledge Wood join NBC Sports Group's coverage of the game from Minneapolis, Minn. Together they will experience the SUPER BOWL celebration, and take part in outdoor events and activities leading up to kickoff.
Miller, who joined NBC Sports Group's skiing coverage in 2016, will add a winter sports perspective. Cantor will lend his trademark voice to NBC's SUPER BOWL Pre-Game Show, and Cantore will report on the expected frigid conditions from NBC's outdoor pre-game set in Minneapolis.
Truex Jr., Blaney and Wood also make their first trips to the SUPER BOWL with NBC Sports, joining previously announced contributor Dale Earnhardt Jr. The four will focus on the fun outdoor events in Minnesota. Wood will also contribute reports from Nicollet Mall throughout the week.
