'Big Brother' Sees Ratings Increase

The 12th edition of BIG BROTHER delivered across-the-board gains in its Sunday premiere compared to last summer according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, July 11.

BIG BROTHER SUNDAY (P) was first in its time period in households (4.0/07), viewers (6.97m), adults 25-54 (2.8/08), adults 18-49 (2.3/07) and adults 18-34 (1.9/07). Compared to last year's Sunday premiere, BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was up +3% in households (from 3.9/07), +8% in adults 25-54 (from 2.6/07), +15% in adults 18-49 (from 2.0/06), +27% in adults 18-34 (from 1.5/05) and added +680,000 viewers (from 6.29m, +11%).

For the night, CBS was first in households (4.0/07), viewers (6.39m), adults 25-54 (1.8/05).

Updated Sunday ratings will be available tomorrow morning.
