In his blog, TV director Norman Buckley, Betty Buckley's brother, writes about directing the Broadway legend in an upcoming guest appearance for CW's 'Melrose Place'.
Norman Buckley writes, "One of the primary joys of directing this particular episode was that it presented me with my first opportunity to direct my sister Betty Buckley. Executive producer Todd Slavkin turned to me in the concept meeting on the first day of prep and asked, "I know it's only a small cameo, but do you think there's any chance your sister would be interested in playing this character?" I said that I could ask, and she graciously agreed to come from her ranch in Texas to play the part. (Again, more to come on this blog once the show airs in April.)"
The episode of 'Melrose Place' with Betty Buckley as guest star is titled 'Sepulveda'. It is scheduled to air on April 6, 2010 on the CW Television Network.
Betty Buckley is a Tony award winner who has thrilled audiences for years with acclaimed performances in such Broadway shows as Sunset Boulevard, Cats, The Mystery of Edwin Drood and 1776.
