Beau Bridges has officially signed on to play Will Arnett's father in CBS' upcoming comedy pilot, which is still currently untitled.
Greg Garcia (RAISING HOPE) will pen the pilot's scrip, as well as serve as executive produer. James Burrows has signed on to helm.
The multi-camera comedy follows a recently divorced man, Jack (Arnett), whose life grows exceedingly complicated complicated when his parents decide to call it quits and file for divorce. Margo Martindale, as previously reported, has signed on to play Jack's mother, who moves in with him. Their father, Tom (Bridges), a clueless klutz, moves in with Jack's sister, Debbie (Mary Elizabeth Ellis), and her husband.
The project reteams Bridges and Martindale, who will appear together on Showtime's upcoming series MASTERS OF SEX.
