You're Welcome America. A Final Night with George W Bush, broken records even in its first month of performances, the show smashed a Cort Theatre house record - taking in $871,127 for the week ending on February 22ND. This broke the house record set during the previous week, with an increase of almost $25,000.
You're Welcome America... will conclude its Broadway run on SUNDAY, MARCH 15th at 7pm. It will have played 18 previews and 46 regular performances. The hit comedy has also recouped its original investment of $2.09 million.
Will Ferrell is making his Broadway debut in this show which is directed by Adam McKay, Ferrell's longtime collaborator, and director of the comedy classics Anchorman, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, and this past summer's box office hit Step Brothers.
