Ellona Santiago, 17, was born in the Philippines. When her family moved to California, her parents worked very hard and they inspire Ellona to do the same in order to make her dreams come true. Demi says she has "a diva inside of her."

Rion Paige, 13, is from Florida, and she has a disease called arthrogryposis multiplex congenita, which has caused permanent damage to her arms. She says she doesn't want to be known as the girl with the arms, she wants to be known as "the girl with the voice." She Demi says she has "a really great energy and light about her that's refreshing."

Khaya Cohen, 16, is from New York City. She's loved music her entire life! Demi believes that Khaya is "one to watch in this competition."

Carlito Olivero, 24, is from Chicago, but he currently works at a coffee shop in Los Angeles. He is Puerto Rican and Mexican, and he hopes to take care of his family one day. Paulina saw "something special" in Carlito from the first time she saw him perform.

Carlos Guevara, 16, is from South Carolina and he has Tourette's syndrome. Music helped him when his symptoms got worse through puberty. Paulina thinks that Carlos is "such a unique talent."

Tim Olstad, 24, is from Minnesota, and both his parents are music teachers. His family has always been musical, but his confidence often gets in his way. He's working on his nerves, and Paulina believes that "it would be crazy to let him go."

Rachel Potter, 29, is a bartender in Nashville, Tennessee, and she has always dreamed of Being a country singer. Kelly calls Rachel her "powerhouse vocalist," and she loves Rachle's "vocal stylings are so unique."

Jeff Gutt, 37, is a single dad from Detroit, Michigan. His son inspired him to try out for The X Factor, and he's back this season after Being eliminated last year to work for his son's future. Kelly knows that "people will absolutely love watching him."

Lillie McCloud, 54, has three children and seven grandchildren. She's had some professional experience, but no one was able to see her more than a dance diva. She's on The X Factor to prove herself, and Kelly chose her because "she is a beast."

Alex & Sierra, both 22, met in the summer of 2009 in Florida and fell in love. When Simon met them, he thought they'd be terrible. But they proved him wrong!

Sweet Suspense is an X Factor-created group. Celine, 16, is from Florida, has wanted to sing since her mom bought her a karaoke machine when she was five. Millie, 14, is from Alabama, and she was a cheerleader for 7 years. Summer, 17, is from California, and got her singing ability from both of her parents.

Restless Road is another X Factor-created group. Zach, 18, is from Pennsylvania and his dad teaches choral music. Andrew, 19, is from South Carolina and Simon fought for him during his audition. Colton, 18, is from
"a town of about 272 people" in West Virginia. Simon thought that putting the three country singers together was a "no brainer."
