There isn't an acting award big enough for Joe Morton. He is giving a clinic in this show. Olivia doesn't have much when it comes to parental units in the way of parenting, but man, they sure can act!

After last week's shocking cliffhanger, Jake and Fitz are in a rage about finding Rowan, whereas Olivia is damn near catatonic. Especially when they raid B-613 and find "the Hole" that happens to be housing her Mom. Mama Pope isn't much help and Olivia has just about lost her patience. As Jake continues his deep investigation into Rowan's whereabouts, he is nearly shot in an alley. On the shooter's body, he finds a kill card. Turns out B-613 has a plan in place for when something goes wrong. They have a team ready to kill all the agents. Upon finding this out, Jake warns Huck and Quinn and in turn, Quinn warns Charlie. And by warn, I mean hooks up with him.

Elizabeth plays dirty and leaks the photos of Cyrus and Mike to the Press. Olivia offers a solution that they could get married, but Cyrus is still super angry with Mike and refuses and hands in his resignation. Fitz begrudgingly accepts it. Olivia applies her best tough love and Cyrus agrees to marry Mike.

Quinn informs Olivia about killing Kubiak and his involvement with the VP and Elizabeth. To find out more information, Quinn breaks into Jeremy Winslow's law firm as that was the only location the VP and Elizabeth were seen together. It also happens to be on the night Kaitlin Winslow was murdered. (Finally, that storyline makes sense.) Quinn also finds a file with the label "WACO" and sends the info to Huck. Huck is dealing with his own drama trying to see Havi after he was traumatized seeing Huck kill Kubiak. Kim blocks him. Quinn and Charlie continue to hook up until Quinn finds a kill card in Charlie's pocket with her face on it. They brutally beat each other up to the tune of "Endless Love" and then have a nice chat. She convinces him to help Huck. Charlie casually mentions that he has all the B-613 files and he'll deliver Huck's to Kim. Quinn and Huck decipher that WACO is an acronym for West Angola Commercial Organization, a subsidiary of the government. They watch the footage and the VP knew the bomb was going to go off and shielded himself.

While Jake is tracking Rowan, Rowan shows up at Olivia's apartment. (Nice job, Jake). They have the world's most awkward Daddy/Daughter conversation. Liv grabs the gun to shoot him. She pulls the trigger, but it is empty. And Rowan flips the hell out. He was testing her to see if she'd really do it and boy did she fail. He's super pissed now. After drinking a little wine, as she does, Jake comes over and they dance. She tells him she doesn't feel like choosing between him and Fitz. And he seems just fine with that. As he escapes into the other room to find some pillows, we switch back to the VP informing the President that he needs to declare war on West Angola. See... he's got Olivia. Back at Olivia's, Jake realizes she's been taken. Boo-ya.

I don't entirely understand why the Attorney General had to depose the Press Secretary but it was worth it for the Abby/David scene where she admitted she slept with Leo. David Rosen Can NOT catch a break! A lot of crazy action, but the only thing I am hoping is that they don't have to go through Rowan to get Olivia back. We flip flop back and forth so much on this show between good guy and bad guy, it would be nice to have one clear cut bad guy. And I would like to nominate Joe Morton... for everything!

What I Know:

  • Badass Mellie sticking it to Elizabeth was definitely my favorite scene of the night. It's so nice to have her back.

  • A Gay Republican Chief of Staff... won't that just be the day?

  • Quinn and Charlie are the weirdest couple on television.

What I Don't Know:

  • When did the VP become a bad guy? This was a sudden twist, no? Wasn't he the one who was all sweet and caring when we found out the truth about Mellie?

  • Can Cyrus moves past Mike's betrayal and actually let himself care for his new husband?

  • Will David Rosen ever be able to forgive Abby? I don't even know if I can.

Lines I Love:

  • Huck - We can't get in, we need a fingerprint. Quinn - Well, we do have a finger. Olivia - You have a finger?

  • Charlie - Oh... crap.

  • Rowan - COULD YOU BE MORE UNGRATEFUL? You're my flesh. There would be no Olivia Pope, if not for me.

  • Olivia - So where to? Cyrus - I'm thinking Europe. They have a long history of accepting failure and disgrace.

  • Cyrus - I'M NOT A LITTLE BITCH, BABY!

And as usual, we now have to wait a glorious two months before we get answers to any of these questions. We certainly get what we ask for from Shonda Rhimes and she never disappoints.
