BWW Recap: Video games, AIDS, the 'L' Word on LOOKING

Patrick (Jonathan Gorff) and Kevin (Russell Tovey) head to a gay video game convention to show off a demo of their fighting game, Dom (Murray Bartlett) makes progress on his restaurant and Agustin (Frankie J. Alvarez) realizes he might not be as comfortable with Eddie's HIV status as he thought on this week's ep, "Looking for Glory." Feast your eyes on this recap, we'll get you caught up.

We open with Patrick and Kevin in bed. Kevin comments that Patrick's breath is terrible (he's a keeper). Patrick gets up and makes him breakfast and proceeds to drop it on the floor as he tries to gently re-open the bedroom door. Kevin coaxes him back in the bed. Patrick is sure they are going to be superstars at the gay video gamer convention where they will be showing their fighting game loosely based on the Top Trumps card game.

Later, Kevin is eating breakfast and Agustin comes out in nothing but underwear and an open shirt. This makes Kevin uncomfortable. Patrick enters wearing the adorable boxer dog sweater that belongs to Kevin. Agustin says what we're all thinkng: "Two weeks and you're already sharing each other's clothing."

Kevin is also not amused. He hasn't announced to anyone at work that he has broken up with Jon and he is worried people will villify him for not following the courtesy gap (the gap between relationships so people know you are a complete jerk).

Back at the office, Patrick and Kevin present some video game footage to the team. They finish each other's sentences. Owen (Andrew Law) realizes Patrick is wearing Kevin's sweater and soon the whole team knows that Patrick and Kevin are sleeping together. Meredith (Amy York Rubin) is concerned it will impact the company's fairness statement (though she looks like a lesbian, she's actually straight). She complains to human resources.

Dom proudly shows Doris (Lauren Weedman) and Malik (Bashir Salahuddin) the progress he has made renovating the place that will be his chicken restaurant window. He hits them up for help in installing the water filtration system, but they have plans (Malik's neice is having a birthday party). Lauren promises to swing by after the party.

It's the Gaymer X convention and Patrick and Kevin have shown up fashionably late to set up their booth. Patrick has to borrow table clips from a nearby table. It's a booth for an app that finds the nearest gloryhole and you can leave comments (so, it's sort of like a gay Yelp). The guy asks if Patrick and Kevin's company name ("One Up Him") is a Reese Witherspoon movie. Patrick gives the guy his spiel about the game. "So, it's about gay stereotypes," the guy says rather bitchy.

Back in Eddie's apartment, Agustin and Eddie (Daniel Franzese) are having sex. Agustin wants him to ejaculate all over his chest. Eddie obliges, but inadvertantly shoots some of his bodily fluids into Agustin's eyes. He panics and runs to the bathroom to wash out his eye.

At Dom's restaurant, Dom is busy toiling away as Agustin vents about the incident. "Why am I the go to for having an AIDS meltdown friend," Dom asks.

At Gaymer X, Patrick is doing his darndest to sell the game. People think "it's too 2009."And before you can think that things can't get any worse, Patrick's ex Ritchie (Raul Castillo) shows up with his current boyfriend Brady (Chris Perfetti). Brady is doing a story on the convention. Kevin repays Patrick for bringing the relationship out into the open at work by inviting Ritchie and Brady on a double date with them. Patrick wasn't ready to tell Ritchie. Brady thinks the pair who broke up, continued to work on the fighting game and then got back together would make a great cover story.

Patrick shows Kevin the hotel room he has rented for the weekend as a surprise. He's brought their suits and drops to one knee to present Kevin with a corsage and asks him if he will got to Gaymer X prom with him.

At the shelter, Eddie confronts Agustin over his HIV freak out. Agustin promises to work on it, because he is totally into Eddie.

At Gay prom, Patrick and Kevin do the couple photo thing and slow dance. Patrick spies Ritchie across the room. It's Ritchie's turn to look longingly with regret at Patrick and his new-found happiness.

Despite this, Ritchie and Brady still go out on a double date with them. Brady is super drunk and asks Kevin to take him to the bathroom. It leaves Ritchie some time to confront Patrick on the whole mess. Brady returns from the bathroom (false alarm) and announces "I'm going to take back all the s I said about you guys." Topics inclue Patrick being afraid of his own vagina and "you two are what's wrong with the gay community."

Back in their hotel room, the pair receive their first video game review. One star (another attempt to divide and conquer the gay community). Kevin quickly dismisses it. Patrick reacts by saying "Oh, my God. I love you." He has a momentary freak out of it (they don't even use the L word in his family). Kevin says "I love you, too." They kiss and Kevin pulls the covers over them.
