The Voice opened this week with British superstar Ellie Goulding singing "Burn" with Matthew Schuler, James Wolpert, and Will Champlin.

The first artist that was saved was Team Adam's Will Champlin.

Next, a holiday performance by the Top 8 singing "Will the Circle Be Unbroken".

The second artist that was saved was Team Blake's Cole Vosbury.

CeeLo put on a performance of his new song "Amy", and The Voice Confessional aired, full of everyone giving their impressions of the coaches. It was great for laughs and you can see it at nbc.com/thevoice!

The third artist saved was Team Christina's Jacquie Lee.

Next, after Revealing that Ryan Tedder would help the Top Three finalist write an original song, the show paid a tribute to OneRepublic with Jacquie, Caroline, Will, and Ray singing Apologize, and Michael, Tessanne, James, and Cole.

After that performance it was announced that the rest of Team Adam's contestants, Tessanne and James, were saved.

This left Matthew, Caroline, and Ray in the bottom three to be saved by Instant Save. This puts Matthew in the bottom three for the first time, and Ray and Caroline in it for the second time.

America instantly saved Matthew Schuler, sending Caroline Pennell and Ray Boudreaux home, officially taking CeeLo out of the competition.

This leaves the Team with the follow contestants:

Team Adam: Tessanne Chin, James Wolpert, Will Champlin

Team Blake: Cole Vosbury

Team Christina: Matthew Schuler and Jacquie Lee

Team CeeLo: N/A
