Juliette's still a Hexenbiest, Sean's got a case of the night bleeds, and there's some sort of worm creature on the loose - it must be time for another episode of GRIMM!
Due to a DVR snafu and time change, I didn't get to see last week's episode until much later, so here's a brief review of what happened last time: Juliette and Nick face off over her new... well, face, and Nick leaves to think things over. In the meantime, a teenage boy named Peter who is some sort of rabbit Wesen - Peter Rabbit, you guys, I can't even - is killed and has his foot chopped off. Apparently infertile couples will pay big money to buy a freshly severed rabbit-Wesen foot to place under their beds for luck. Gross. Nick and company solve the case, naturally, and all is well - except, of course, for Nick, Juliette, Sean, and even Adalind.
Sean is cornered by Adalind, who warns him that Victor wants him killed, and she fears he will kill her too once he finds the baby. She also discovers that Nick is a Grimm again, and goes to see Henrietta. There she learns she is pregnant... with what has to be Nick's baby. Nick also goes to see Henrietta, and she tells him Juliette can't be changed back - he either has to let her go or learn to understand her. Nick tells Juliette he wants to try but when she tests him he finds he can't look at her, and it's her turn to walk out.
This week we open with Sean, who is having nightmares and wakes up mysteriously bleeding again. He goes to see the doctor but they find nothing wrong, so he goes to Monrosalee to find the book his mother had used to help Nick and Juliette. When he discovers it can only be opened with the blood of a Hexenbiest he requests Juliette's help. She's not thrilled to assist but does what he asks - she can hardly decline since she showed up on his doorstep looking for a place to stay. Nick tries to reach her several times, but she refuses to take his calls.
We meet our Wesen du jour in a bar, where a man chats up a supposedly lonely woman who is separated from her husband. She takes him back to her place and just when he thinks he's about to get lucky, her husband bursts in and confronts him. He runs out, but when he realizes he left his phone behind he returns for it and discovers the woman isn't entirely human. Nick and Hank report to the scene when the man's body is found and note that he appears to have considerable acid burns, or perhaps necrotizing fasciitis.
Wu, Nick, and Hank track down the location of the phone and they return to the woman's home, which turns out to be rented with a fake name. They also find a fingerprint and track it down to the husband, Linus. Nick and Hank retire to the trailer and learn that the woman and her husband are likely Huntha Lami Muuaji, working together to scam unsuspecting men. They ask Monroe to act as bait to catch the couple in action and he follows her back to her place, learning her name is Stacy. The scene goes down much the same way as it did before - Linus bursts in with a gun and Monroe panics. Nick and Hank try to find him but they discover that Linus and Stacy are one and the same. With Rosalee's help they prepare some hormone-laced darts to try and trap Linus-Stacy in one form. They track her during her next attempt and Nick and Hank confront her, shoot her with the darts, and watch as she becomes Linus. Questioning him reveals that he's completely nuts, and he's very disturbed to discover he can't bring Stacy out any longer.
Finally, we return to Adalind. She takes a few pregnancy tests and decides she needs to sleep with someone ASAP, presumably to pin the responsibility on someone other than Nick - ideally Victor. However, when she looks for him she learns he's gone, and that she's being watched. Next week we see Juliette demanding help from Sean, but he's got his own royal issues to deal with.
So what's next? Are Juliette and Nick done for good, now that her problem is out in the open and there's a little Nick Junior on the way? Will Adalind tell Nick about the pregnancy? Is this some sort of gateway to throw Juliette and Sean together?
