"Don't say that. The words used to describe women. If she was a man, you'd say she was formidable or bold or right." Amen! I love how even in the soapiest of political drama, Shonda Rhimes can still sneak in a lesson or two. So take that, Fitz, don't be calling Olivia's friends (or women in general); "bitches."

Olivia and Abby are back to being gal pals. Seeing how upset Olivia was about Jake, Abby not only spends the night to calm her nightmares, but also confronts POTUS in the oval office about it. Not the best move as he now wants her job, but still pretty ballsy. And let's face it, it needed to be said. Although to be fair, the proof Fitz lays out to Olivia is pretty convincing. You have to give it to Roman, he's pretty good at framing people. Olivia desperately wants to see Jake but Fitz won't have it until Rowan convinces him to let her see him. Upon seeing Jake, Olivia is horrified at his appearance. But also, he has given up hope. (Or should I say Pope? #imsorry) She is still not convinced that he did it and Fitz is just convicting him based on their relationship. Finally pulling out the big guns, she tells Fitz there is only hope for he and Olivia if he puts Jake into the custody of the D.O.J so David Rosen has an attempt at helping him. Rowan is none too pleased.

In other news, Cyrus' boy toy gives Liz the blackmail photos of he and Cyrus. He asks for more money for more information. After reading Cyrus' emails, he found out the President is thinking of closing some military bases. Liz leaks this to the press and Cyrus assigns Abby to find the leak. And she does... it's Mike, Cyrus' boy toy.

At Pope and Associates, Quinn is desperate to find the source of the key she pulled out of the corpse last week. Huck is being no help as he is addicted to a video game. She finally finds the locker and inside are pictures of Olivia. Apparently Katherine's case (yeah, that's still going on) involves Olivia as the people who killed Katherine's daughter and Faith are after Olivia. Well that storyline just got infinitely more intriguing.

And in their random case of the week, Olivia is hired by a man who is accused of trying to kill former President Cooper, Leonard Carnahan. Carnahan says the bullet lodged in Cooper's brain that they never removed will clear him of all charges. All Olivia has to do is get the D.O.J. to charge Carnahan with murder and they can order an autopsy. It works. Poor David Rosen, a patsy again. However, Carnahan actually did try to kill the President. But since he failed, he wasn't really that famous. But being charged with murder by the D.O.J. has cemented his name in history with the likes of John Wilkes Booth. #crazypeople

Lastly, as former President Cooper's funeral approaches, Mellie bonds with former First Lady, Bitsy. Bitsy reveals that it was she was really running the country and her husband was a bit of a letch. But she sacrificed credit in the name of getting things done for the country she loves. Is this a new, motivated and inspired Mellie? Could she begin to be a force to be reckoned with in this administration?

What I Know:

  • The reveal that Huck was playing video games with his son was very sweet. I'm guessing his ex-wife won't find it as adorable.

  • I guess names don't need to be mentioned, but we all know who the President Cooper story was based on, right? I sure hope that the real life FLOTUS was as cool as Bitsy.

  • Can Carol Locatell guest star every week as the Former First Lady? She is a gem!

What I Don't Know:

  • So does Fitz believe Jake or is he just doing Olivia a favor? The look on his face while watching Jake and Olivia seemed to spark something. Just me?

  • Does Cyrus keep Mike on the hook or does he call him out for spying? I'm hoping he keeps him on the leash and feeds him false information.

  • Is David Rosen ever going to win? Sure, he got a small victory today but this job has not been the best for him thus far.

Lines I Love:

  • Former First Lady Cooper - My husband's only religion was believing he had to screw anything with a pulse. But, since us bitches have to get through this dog and pony show, I'm gonna need you to sit down, shut up and follow my lead.

  • Former First Lady Cooper - I have a joint in my handbag and it's not gonna smoke itself. Would you like to join me on the Truman balcony?

  • Olivia - You may be Command, Dad, but I have weapons at my disposal. Weapons that you can't possibly possess!

I really don't know what is going to happen to Jake. I was convinced Olivia didn't believe him but now I think she really does. And if there is one thing Fitz, Jake and Rowan have in common, it is that they are no match for Olivia. They all have the same weakness. Now, how can she use that to save Jake. Poor Scott Foley telling Olivia she doesn't have to choose him. I fear he is destined to be forever Noel Crane and President Grant is the Ben Covington in her life. #felicityforever
