Listening to what Ash has to say doesn't ever seem to be anyone's first plan of action. Granted, much of what he's said has come out as self -absorbed, misogynistic, or mildly racist, so perhaps the world is not the problem.

After having his maggot concoction-induced attempt to strangle Kelly thwarted, Ash was tied up and gagged. New and improved Possessed Kelly (now with demonic, color changing eyes!) lied about being attacked, and agreed that Brujo's performing an exorcism was a good idea. There was a possibility that Ash could be saved, but he might lose his sense of smell and use of his penis. No big deal.

As Pablo's Tio dangled live chickens and charms in Ash's face, Kelly used her charms to lull Pablo into a false sense of security. It was time for booze, pot, and seduction.

Meanwhile, Amanda and Ruby were using Ash's severed hand as an otherworldly GPS. Amanda wasn't completely on board. She had questions. Ruby caressed the side of her face. Amanda gave her side eye. The hand pointed and off they went.

Kelly used a shotgun as a pipe, and tried to convince Pablo to have a taste. Pablo, bless his heart, took Kelly's extra "friendly" demeanor as a sign that maybe she was finally read to let him beyond the friend zone. It was kind of precious despite being really sad. She urged him to take a hit off the shotgun-pipe (she had a bullet ready to blow the back of his head off when his lips hit the barrel), but he was too distracted by their budding romance to be concerned with getting high. Ah, to be young and in love. Finally Eligos-Kelly snapped and showed her true face.

In the other room, Ash had managed to get his gag off and reveal the truth to Brujo. They rushed to Pablo's aid. Some light exorcism work was performed, but to no avail. Kelly was angry; grunting, spitting, and pissing everywhere. Pablo begged her to fight the possession. Brujo took Pablo outside and broke it down that the Kelly he knew was gone and that they had to end her suffering before the Eligos tore her apart.

Inside, Kelly told Ash to kill her, but just to be sure to put a cross on her grave. Sucker; Kelly's Jewish! It's important to know your host's religious values.

In what could have been his last romantic gesture, Pablo went back inside and demanded that the demon take him instead. The demon within seemed to find that agreeable, because it forced an arm out through Kelly mouth and exited her body. It darted around the room; avoided Ash's gun. It attacked Brujo; tossing him backwards into a sharp, metal object that went through his chest. TIO!

What were our heroes to do? Suddenly Ash had an epiphany: "Shoot first; think never." Duh. A gun toss, spin, and a fake out resulted in Ash shooting the Eligos in the head. The head exploded and demon innards went everywhere. It looked like blue Jell-O that hadn't quite solidified yet.

Brujo had a burial by fire, but left Pablo a special necklace to take with him on his journey.
Ash apologized to Pablo and Kelly, proving that not everything out of his mouth is insincere trash.

Pablo presented Ash with the robotic hand he'd made. Ash was pretty stoked to be able to make a fist again. He had plans to shove it "up some Deadite's ass." It's nice to have goals.

What did you think of tonight's episode? Did you want a little more of Amanda/Ruby's storyline, or were you okay with the focus as it was? What do you think next week's episode has in store? Will the ladies meet up with our troubled, misunderstood heroes? What would a meeting between Ash and Ruby look like? Will Ash literally put his new limb up a demon's pooper? Sound off in the comments below.
