BWW Recap: Nothing Goes as Planned in Chapter Three of JANE THE VIRGIN

Poor Jane, nothing seems to ever go according to plan in her life. That includes losing her virginity. Yes, you read that correctly. After giving it some thought Jane decides to go on and lose her virginity. Sure this may be extreme, but remember, the girl is already pregnant, and has a serious boyfriend.

Personally I don't get it, but she does and it's all about her, right? Michael is expectedly thrilled when he hears of her decision, and quickly starts planning the perfect romantic night for the both of them. The man is excited as you can see!

So back to Jane and things not going as she probably had planned. Let's just say that she seems to be really distracted by Raf. Seriously, she keeps running into him rather frequently. Doesn't he have a job? Is it all coincidental or subconscious desire? Does she like him? Am I the only one who has picked up on that? Classic love-triangle and I love every bit of it! After quite a few setbacks Jane and Michael finally starting getting their grove on... until a white flower arrangement (yes I'm being serious) reminds Jane of her promise of purity. Oh, and the video of Raf coming onto the hotel TV sure didn't help the situation either. Poor girl! Better luck next time I guess.

By the way, don't forget, we still have a murder mystery on our hands. Which if I'm being completely honest I don't see the point of. Maybe because it gives the character of Michael something else to focus on besides the very complicated relationship he has with Jane? Michael though is convinced Petra had something to do with Zaz's death, though he tries to fan the suspicion away from her. Petra lost her necklace right before the death at the scene of the crime, so after some investigatory work concerningt who was issued hotel keys, Michael recovers her necklace. But doing so gave Petra the blackmail that he tampered with a crime scene. Oh, how the tables have turned!

And don't forget about Reglio! He drops by the hotel under to rent a room happens to see Jane in the lobby. She freaks out from seeing her favorite actor, asks to take a selfie, and when her mom and abuelita see it online, they, of course, freak out as well. Abuelita tried to clean the mess up, but didn't go according to plan. But does anything ever go according to plan for this family?
