BWW Recap: Mission Impossible, Wolf Protocol on TEEN WOLF

I'm pretty sure we just witnessed Theo becoming the reliable one of the group and Scott becoming the weak link. Sure, Theo's kind of a psycho and Scott is the Alpha, but hey, what could possibly go wrong with that scenario?

This week was all about trying to find Liam and Hayden. Scott was on a mission, but was getting nowhere. After trying to track scents and howling turned up no results, he turned to their new friend, Corey, a Chimera, and literally tapped into his memories. The gang figures out that the Doctors must be using the water treatment plant as their laboratory. Scott, Mason and Malia take off to find Liam and Hayden, but still can't pick up the scent due to all the chemicals. Scott has yet another asthma attack as the trio winds up running in circles.

After the discovery of the body on Mama McCall's kitchen island, Stalinsky calls in the team to investigate. She's not all that happy that he's following procedure as it is clearly a supernatural case. (Thus inspiring MTV's first stupid hashtag of the night, #slappedbymelissa). Kira is immediately suspect and picked up, but her Dad covers for her and takes the blame. As she once again tries to read the Dread Doctors book, her Mom suggests reading it backwards and it may make more sense to her. It does and triggers her memory that in that traffic jam? Back in Episode One of this season? The Doctors got to her and put all that nasty stuff into her which is why she has been going the slightest bit crazy, as of late. Not wanting to cause more harm, she decides to go away from the gang until it is under control. (Stupid hashtag #2 - #peaceoutkira)

Stalinsky, meanwhile, enlists a team to guard the latest body from being stolen. Too bad that Parrish is one of the people guarding it. The morgue is infested with hot steam from the pipes and the guards are all attacked except Parrish who appears just when the peril is over and the body is gone. Stiles figures out that it is him stealing the bodies and presents his burned nametag to Lydia. She knows where he's taking them.

At the plant, the three have no luck locating Liam and Hayden who are trapped in a room guarded by an electric fence. There they meet Zach, another experiment who tells them he has witnessed "Failures" being dragged out when mercury starts dripping out of their mouths. As it starts to drip out of Zach's mouth, the Doctors appear and he is dragged away. Corey remembers a basement at the plant where he was held and Theo takes off to find the missing kids. He does and rescues Liam and Hayden. Liam kisses Hayden and her pain is gone. (Stupid hashtag #3 - #layden)

Scott is so relieved to see them safe, he hugs Theo, as do Mason and Malia. Scott confesses to Mama that he feels like the group is falling apart and it is all his fault.

Deaton, along with a Russian guy (with a horrible accent) locate an old lab of the Dread Doctors and find some failed experiments. There he runs into the "Desert Wolf" who warns him that if she finds out her daughter is alive, she will kill her again.

Couple Things:

• I just don't get the Parrish thing. Is he a bad dude? Are we going to find out he's doing all this for the greater good?

• Was it a tad awkward that Liam and Hayden's first kiss was in the back of a car while Theo was driving watching them through a rearview mirror?

• Am I mistaken or did Kira do the whole "I'm gonna leave until this is under control" spiel last week?

• This whole anger thing between Mama McCall and Sheriff Stalinsky is just adding to the sexual tension, no?

• So Kira escaped charges from executing that girl and her Dad took the fall and then they left town... so, everyone just forgot about it now? No consequences?

• I still don't have the slightest interest in the Desert Wolf.

• Stiles hospital badge said "M. Stiles." What's his first name? My guess? Marcus... Miles... Malvolio?

• Anyone else remember the Samuel L. Jackson movie, 187? Yeah... it was not good.

• Not gonna lie, I have been in many a traffic jam here in Los Angeles. Starting to wonder if I haven't been injected with something during one of them.
