BWW Recap: LIVE East Coast HEROES REBORN Recap 11/19

Tis the season for letting your true colors show on HEROES REBORN! Joanne becoes a kidnapper and a murderer (rest in peace, Caspar - althoug I'm sure you're still alive in some other timeline); Dearing aids a fugitive (albeit, one on the right side of justice); and Quentin abducts Tommy and takes him to who knows where. Poor Emily is caught up in the middle of all of this, probably scared and very, very confused.

Meanwhile, our favorite Katana Girl wakes up in the middle of some desert somewhere and spots a random facility not too far away. Who knows what that's about.

The only storylines I'm really interested in at this point are Quentin's and Joanne's - and that's almost entirely because I didn't expect either one of them to be ruthless murderers. Otherwise, I'm still waiting for everything to really pick up. Events are moving along, and yet, the show itself doesn't seem to be gaining much momentum. I am sad about Caspar, though, but I'm sure he's alive in some other timeline, tricking people with his pennies, just like the good ol' days.

8:05: Tommy may not be in a very good situation (y'know, what with being held captive by the enemy and all), but those bed sheets sure are cool!

Any time humanity has to "reboot" after the end of the world, it's never usually a good sign. Actually, why would anyone need to reboot anything if Tommy and Malina can save the world? Just because you don't like EVOs, Erica, doesn't mean you can just...start a new, alternate reality.

8:12: I like this little EVO rebel group! They're bold!

8:16: I gotta say, Quentin, even though you're officially a bad guy now, I do still think you're pretty darn entertaining.

Also, how does making Tommy time jump prove that him and Malina fail? Isn't this only one possible outcome? There are multiple timelines, so I feel like there are alternate outcomes. Come on, Tommy, think!

8:23: Oh no, don't think so! Your tactics aren't gonna work on her!

Actually, they might. I forgot that he's a mind reader.

I do like that she used her powers, though, to save Carlos. That's pretty darn cool.

8:25: This scene reminds me of Harry Potter. It's like they made her take one big swig of Erica-laced Polyjuice Potion.

8:28: I'm not just saying this because I'm a massive fan (ok, so, fine, I'm sure that's influencing it, whatever), but Zachary Levi is GREAT in this show. Sure, he's not given the best dialogue in the world to work with, but he's doing an awesome job with it. Kudos to him.

8:35: Her power is to take away other people's powers. Does that mean she has the ultimate power...? And where do all those stolen powers go?

8:46: No, Tommy! Don't listen to her! She's the bad guy!

8:49: Is the storm just one big tornado...?

You go, Malina! Push that storm away to somewhere else!

8:54: Well, would you look at that: one group of pro-EVO fighters meets another group of pro-EVO fighters!

In other news, apparently the key to the future is very funny-shaped and impractical-looking. How can a wiggly key fit into a lock?

8:57: Come on, Tommy, don't trust Erica! Erica can't be trusted!

Are these nutjobs serious? Yeah she's an EVO, but she just saved your lives! Obviously she's not a bad person!

But who took Noah? And where'd they take him? And why did he leave his glasses behind?!

8:59: Psh, this guy and his one-man army.
