The typical "mandator 24-hour rest period" has gone right out the window for teams this week on THE AMAZING RACE! After last week's catastrophic (and I mean that in every sense of the word) Express Pass mistake by Tanner and Josh, I'm not sure how much more stress the teams (or myself, for that matter) can handle.

And yet, they're being forced to liase with lions and cage dive with crocodiles regardless!

Seriously though, Tanner and Josh have a lot of re-building to do after last week's lead-ruining and morale-destroying blunder. (Honestly though, they could've so easily had a huge first place lead!) Not only do they have to continue running the Race without any time to rest, but they also have to make an on the spot decision about who they're going to give the Express Pass to next. And, we still don't know which team has been eliminated! So much excitement! So much suspense!

Who do you want to get the second Express Pass? Who do you want to see eliminated? Let us know, and come join me tonight right here and on Twitter @CourtHenley at 8:00 PM EST as I live recap tonight's episode of THE AMAZING RACE!

8:01: They gave the Express Pass to the mother-son team, huh? Interesting choice. They never really spoke with that team at all. That being said, it is a pretty good choice, in that they're really not a threat to Tanner and Josh.

At least that decision wasn't as stupid as their last Express Pass decision.

8:03: Remember, two minutes ago, when I said giving the Express Pass to Denise and James Earl was a good decision? That was before I didn't realize they were right behind Tanner and Josh AND I forgot that this was the last leg that they can use the Express Pass in.

Way to go, Tanner and Josh, you just made sure one more team is going to pass you.

8:07: That's so COOL! They're taking teams back to the site of the very first challenge in Amazing Race history!

That looks absolutely incredible.

8:11: Interesting that nobody's U-Turning anyone.

Also, really? Paparazzi team, you were only going to donate $20?! Even with those adorable little children staring at you? Come on.

Do these cheerleaders really think that Justin and Diana are behind them? Actually, I guess they don't anymore since Phil just told them they were the last team to arrive (but were not eliminated - thanks, non-elimination leg!).

8:15: This is why I love this show. You go to grab a canoe to paddle across the Nile River and walk past an elephant that's just hanging out by the side of the water.

8:17: Wait...where are these teams going? Why are they leaving the park...? The challenge is right there!

8:24: Alright, you news anchors, you. You're in a cage. You're feeding a crocodile with a giant stick. They're not there for you. You'll be fiiiiine. (I hope.)

Also, side note, I would definitely have to be the person doing the hoisting for the tree challenge, and not the person actually being hoisted. That wouldn't work out.

8:26: Aaaand just like that, Denise and James Earl use the Express Pass to fly past all of the other teams at the crocodile challenge.

Seriously though, this crocodile challenge is awesome. Actually, every challenge this leg has been awesome.

You know, Logan and Chris, I wish I liked you more than I did. But you just don't seem to have your priorities in order.

8:30: Walking with lions?! This is ALSO awesome! I like that everyone's given a little walking stick for their encounter.

Intersting that Denise and James Earl had to change their clothes because they were too bright. I wouldn't have even thought of that!

Logan and Chris need to calm down. Why would you change challenges when you're already at one of them!? You're going to be the last team regardless of which challenge you do. Take the loss of a few minutes, and complete the challenge you're already in line for. They're digging their own Race grave.

8:39: This may be my favorite leg to far. The Pit Stop is at a wildlife preserve! And they have to carry fruit to the mat! I love it!

Justin and Diana crack me up with how slow they're going. This is hilarious! This has GOT to be the slowest pace at which teams have ever arrived at a Pit Stop.

And just like that, Denise and James Earl are the first team to arrive, courtesy of Tanner and Josh (and their Express Pass).

Really, Justin? "Second place is the first loser." That's not the mentality to have when you're on The Race.

8:43: ALWAYS. READ. THE CLUE. Come on, Jazmine and Danielle.

At least nobody seems to be missing the clues in the skull when they walk with the lions?

Except for you guys, Jazmine and Danielle.

READ. THE CLUE.

8:53: These paparazzi are all over the place. I don't usually say this often, but I'm actually disappointed that they didn't get eliminated.

8:55: Interesting how this was STILL a tight race to the Pit Stop even though people had to basically crawl there.

Jazmine and Danielle are eliminated, and I can't say that I'm surprised. That's what happens when you don't read the clue.
