I've got good news and I've got bad news. Which would you like first? Let's start with the bad news okay? Bad news is...due to horribly low ratings; NBC has ultimately decided to not order any more episodes of A TO Z past its original thirteen. Good news, NBC is committed to showing the remaining episodes till they run out. I know, trust me I'm as heartbroken as you are! Full disclosure, this does not necessarily mean the show is 100% cancelled, but the writing is on the wall. Have no fear though; I plan to be here with you till the end! Let's get started shall we?

I can tell you as a guy there always seems to be at some point, that inevitable situation where you have to "man-up" to protect your significant other. Sometimes it's goes well, and other times it does not. Andrew happens to be in the "does not" category. While outside a restaurant, a washed up beach bum bumps into Zelda and drops his burrito. Upset (which wouldn't you be too if you dropped a burrito) he lashes out and calls her a hoe. Andrew fails to stick up for his girlfriend resulting in Zelda fending for herself and ultimately, throwing the guy's sandal onto the roof of the restaurant. Let me add here, that's hilarious. I find it precious she gets mad, steals his shoe and then chunks it!

That fact Zelda had to defend herself seems to have Andrew all flustered. Not sure if it's the fact that he didn't naturally stand up for her protection or that his ego is hurt she had to fight back herself. After all, we've learned that as a kid he had issues with aggression so where are those karate moves now?! Like the good friend he is, Stu is determined for Andrew to get back his lost manhood. You know, the manhood he lost when he didn't fight Zelda's battle! How does he do this? By sneak attacking him endlessly throughout the day of course.

Back at work, Stephie and Zelda have taken on a new case that has Stephie all flustered when the new client just happens to be easy on the eyes. Obviously it's love in Stephie's eyes, however her best friend is not as convinced. The only way though Stephie can date Frank the client is if she removes herself from the case. Did I mention this new case involving Frank was shaping up to be an insane amount of work? So what does Zelda do? Tells her that she'll take on the workload by herself. Not sure if that's her being a good friend or stupid to be honest!

If we're being candid, the Lydia and Howard scenes on A TO Z are nothing but filler and slow the show down so pay those a small out of attention. Moving on let me reiterate, Zelda had no problem defending herself that night at the restaurant. In fact she told Andrew much she loved and respected the fact that he was the complete opposite. How much she admired that we was level headed and thought things through. Andrew on the other hand was going completely crazy about it all. Is she lying? Does she really want a manly-man ready to pounce at a moments notice?

To prove he's more than capable of protecting Zelda, Andrew pulls out his childhood home movies. Call me crazy, but where I come from when you're dating someone you try to avoid those embarrassing treasures. So picture it, with Andrew and Zelda are now Stephie and new man-friend Frank all gathered around to watch childhood proof that Andrew's got some fighting skills. As always, this didn't go to plan as that footage Andrew though he had of himself being tough, was actually him singing in a school show. Street cred is decreasing by the moment for sure.

When he thought things couldn't get worst, Andrew was presented with an opportunity to fight Abraham Lincoln (yes, for real) and he takes it. This is his chance to prove he can fight! To bad the person in the Abraham Lincoln costume happened to be a girl. Unfortunately he had to learn that hard way, that Zelda in fact doesn't like an aggressive guy, that she wants a listener.

I have to say, A TO Z as much of a sweet show it is, I'm not shocked it hasn't done that great in the ratings. What do you think? Has the show lived up to your expectations? Tell me in the comments below or tweet me @joeyohern!
