Last week's episode of RESURRECTION made me not want to trust Margaret and it looks as thought this week's episode, entitled "Old Scars" isn't going to change that much. Michelle Fairley has been such a great addition to the show itself as well as the drama within the show, and it seems she's not going to stop stirring the pot at any time soon.

(On Friday before the episode aired, TV Critic Matt Tamanini had in-depth conversation with Frances Fisher, who plays Lucille, about this explosive episode. Check it out here.)

Tonight's episode starts with a flashback of a boy wearing a Forrest Gump-esque leg brace running from a search party in the woods. He is finally caught and hanged while others watch, one of which being a young girl. Why is the camera focusing on her? Surprise...it's a young Margaret!

After the main title sequence, we learn that today (October 28th) is the day Jacob died. Lucille and Margaret have a beautiful heart to heart on the porch. Lucille comments how she knows they haven't always seen eye to eye, which Margaret jokingly responds that since she's her mother-in-law, "it's the rules of the universe." Margaret tries to cheer Lucille up and stop her from crying so she insists on having a big family dinner that night since most of their greatest moments revolve around a big family meal. Sounds like my Jewish family!

Maggie is confused how the government got news of the Returned bones so quickly but Bellamy acts like he doesn't know anything. He tells Maggie not to worry because they can still identify the bones with information from the coroner. Supposedly one set of bones belonged to a man with who walked with a brace. Hmm like the guy at the beginning of the episode?!

Janine and Rachael run into each other at the store. Although at first it's awkward, they end up having a pretty nice conversation. Suddenly, Rachael gets a pain in her stomach and ends up falling to the floor while Janine calls 911. They go to Maggie's office to get a sonogram and end up finding out that Rachael's baby is growing at twice the normal speed.

While sitting in a restaurant waiting for his mother, Fred sees a huge cockroach but lets it go without killing it. Aww he does have a heart! Fred tells his mother that the bones could've possibly come from below and the factory and asks if she would know how that could be, which she brushes off and says there might have been a cemetery underneath the factory. Yay dramatic irony! Margaret invites Fred to the family dinner (because Henry must have "forgotten") and although he initially is hesitant because Maggie will be there, Fred complies with his mother and accepts the invite.

Margaret returns to Henry and Lucille's after going grocery shopping and starts barking orders for the upcoming family dinner. It seems as though her relationship with Lucille is much better, which is nice to see. She tells Jacob that both Fred is coming to dinner, which Jacob is excited about but the same can't be said for Henry and Lucille.

While setting the table, Jacob asks his mother who came to his funeral. Let's be honest, wouldn't we all like to know about our funerals? He then starts asking questions about his aunt Barbara, making Lucille very uncomfortable. He wishes she were coming to dinner so he could apologize for not saving her. Jacob gets mad and "accidentally" drops a glass. Henry then goes to Barbara's house and invites her over for dinner. He explains that it's not for him but for Jacob. Seems like dinner is going to be real drama-free tonight...yeah right.

After making hostile small talk, Bellamy shows Sheriff Langston an article he found about the 12 men who died in the Langston Factory and explains connections with the picture and some of the recent Returned. Langston pulls the bone fragment that he found at the factory out of his pocket...clearly he's starting to make some connections of his own.

Finally it's time for the family dinner! Everyone, except Henry is taken by surprise when Barbara shows up at the door. Jacob apologizes to her as we get a flashback of the event. Margaret comes down the stairs and is less than pleased to see Barbara. Dinner is off to a great start!

Fred questions Margaret about one of the men in the picture that Bellamy found and Margaret denies knowing him, but obviously does, and She tries changing the subject. Henry knows his mother knows something.

Maggie and Fred discuss the updates on the case, and Fred mentions Arthur Holmes, the man he found in the woods sleeping in Caleb's hunting shack. Maggie then tells him that Margaret told her she remembers him from the factory. Fred now knows that his mother is more involved than she lets on.

Dinner is full of awkward moments and alcohol. Lucille and Margaret argue about Henry inviting Barbara to dinner, which Lucille says is no different than Margaret inviting Fred. Margaret begins questioning Barbara about what she's been doing since she returned and things get even more awkward. Margaret sure does wear her opinions about people on her sleeve. She makes a shade-filled toast, which seems it came straight out of one of the Real Housewives franchises. Bellamy leaves Fred a message telling him he's going to look into the Arthur Holmes situation more and that he's headed over to the factory.

Lucille eventually explodes and blames Barbara from her son's death. She claims it "wasn't an accident that [Barbara] went down to the river that day to screw Sam Catlin that day." She thinks that if she wasn't having an affair, than Jacob wouldn't have died. People try to calm Lucille down, but nothing works. She continues to make Barbara feel guilty because Jacob should be at that table with his wife and kids, but can't because of what Barbara did. You tell her, Lucille! Margaret seems to be getting quite a bit of enjoyment out of this, because she doesn't like Barbara anymore than Lucille does. Barbara storms out of the house and tells Fred that knows what she did was wrong and that she doesn't deserve to be forgiven. She then finds out that Fred found her body.

Bellamy searches around the factory and runs into Langston, who goes his message. Neither of them found anything yet, but they suddenly hear a loud noise. They go out front and find Carl's "dead" brother, Mikey, seems sick so they take him to Maggie's office, where they see tons of other Returned who are there severely sick.

Margaret tells Jacob a bedtime story thinly veiled as the story of the Langston family and their factory, which is played over a flashback of the boy whom we met in the beginning of the episode. She explains that everything was great until the "demons" arrived and turned the family against each other. The family tried slaying these demons, but they kept coming back over and over again. Only the little girl of the family (Margaret) remembers the demons and how to kill them. It was her responsibility to protect her family even after she became a "demon" herself.

How involved is Margaret? Who is Arthur Holmes? What's going to happen to these "demons"? Keep watching RESURRECTION on ABC to find out!
