If there was ever a most important leg of the Race, this one is it. Well, aside from the very final million dollar leg, of course. This one, though, determines which three teams make it to that final million dollar leg, and which team has their most precious hopes and dreams crushed before their eyes. Alright, so it's not that dramatic, but it was a pretty eventful finale-determining round.

From the start, tensions are high between the Green Team and the Paparazzi. And between the Green Team and the Reporters. And probably the Green Team and the Cheerleaders, even though that wasn't explicitly shown on television. Basically, everyone hates the Green Team and wants them to get eliminated ASAP, and I can't say that I disagree with them. Kelsey and Joey are only seven minutes behind Justin and Diana as teams fly from India to Hong Kong. Once they arrive, teams must find a Rolls Royce and get chauffeured to the Peninsula Hotel. For whatever reason, the Paparazzi and the Green Team cannot find the luxury vehicles waiting patiently for them right outside of the hotel, leaving plenty of time for the Cheerleaders and the Reporters to cruise on over to the hotel and get their clue about...

The Detour.

Sam's or Cells? In Sam's, teams are required to precisely cut six pieces of fabric and get them approved by an expert tailor, and then bring back a completed suit to Sam's main headquarters. Cells requires teams to search through hundreds of used cell phones for one that turns on, then call a pre-programmed number for the location of their next clue. Kelsey and Joey and Tiffany and Krista choose Sam's, Justin and Diana go the Cells route, and Chris and Logan argue for a while before also choosing Sam's.

All three teams pretty much fly through Sam's, even though Tiffany and Krista mistakenly try to make a full suit the first time around before realizing nope, they just have to cut out the fabric. Justin and Diana actually finish up Cells pretty quickly, as well, which is frustrating to anybody who wants desperately to see them go.

The Reporters, the Cheerleaders, and the Paparazzi all receive their next clue, which tells teams to take the Hong Kong Island Ferry to Makau, and then travel to the House of Dancing Water for their next clue. Those three teams all find the ferry terminal with releative ease, but - finally (I've been waiting to write these words for weeks) - the Green Team is struggling! For whatever reason, they decided to take a taxi to the location given to them by the cell phone, even though the place they needed to go was literally one block away. The taxi drives them 45 minutes out of the way before stopping at a random hotel to get directions. Then, when they finally do make it back and get their clue, they take a taxi to the wrong ferry terminal, and take the Kowloon Ferry to Makau.

Allow me for a moment to briefly explain why I'm not the Green Team's biggest fan. The moment that Justin and Diana faced any kind of taxi trouble (or any kind of trouble at all, for that matter), Justin's rude side came out in full force. Diana did her best to keep calm, but Justin took it to a whole new level and was simply unnecessarily rude to everyone he encountered. You might be struggling, but that's no reason to be nasty.

Moving right along!

The Green Team are likely getting a penalty for taking the wrong ferry, on top of arriving at the Hotel way after the other three teams. Which brings us to...

The Road Block.

Krista struggles at the Road Block.

It's time to Swim with the Fishes! One member of each team must join a prestigious water show and jump thirty feet into a pool to search for a gold fish, which they must then bring to the raft before the music stops. Fortunately for teams, the music plays for 20 minutes, giving teams (what should be) ample time to complete the challenge.

Kelsey, Krista, and Logan compete for their teams in what is probably one of the most awesome challenges from this round of Racing. Logan finds the gold fish almost instantly and makes it to the raft long before the musi stops. Kelsey finds it soon after, and also secures her place at the raft. Krista, on the other hand, struggles, and doesn't make it to the raft before the music stops.

Krista has to do it again (even though she swam past the gold fishes literally about 50 times), and the Green Team strolls on in.

Fortunately for the Cheerleaders, Krista gets a second chance before Diana finishes preparing for the show.

Fortunately for the Green Team, Krista fails. Again. In fact, Krista fails two more times while the Green Team is there, but Diana succeeds on the second try. She gets her clue, and the Green Team joins the other teams as they head for...

The Pit Stop.

This leg's Pit Stop is at Nam Van Lake, known primarily for the Dragon Boat race. The Paparazzi come in first place, knocking the Green Team out of the lead for the first time in eight legs. The Reporters follow right behind, and both teams are told that they've made it to the final three.

Which leaves one spot open.

The Green Team gets to the mat as Krista dives in to try finding the fish for a fifth time, and, wouldn't you know it, they're given a penalty. This wouldn't have been so detrimental to them if it was just the normal 30 minute penalty, but because they took a closer ferry, they got an additional 25 minutes thrown on, for a total of 55 minute penalty.

Krista actually has a fighting chance.

She succeeds on the fifth try - FINALLY - and they bolt to the Pit Stop. Their cab takes them to the wrong place, which puts them back a bit, and they arrive at the Pit Stop genuinely moments after the Green Team checks in.

Sadly, the Cheerleaders are eliminated, meaning that the final three are the Paparazzi, the Reporters, and the Green Team.

The Cheerleaders should be proud, though. They put up a great fight, and remained positive through the entire Race. Good for them.
