Who's ready for a recap of the Knockout Rounds? Whether you missed the first episode of the knockouts tonight or you want to relive them, I'm here to give you a recap of the two-hour episode that kicked off the knockout rounds. For this round, each contestant could pick his or her own song, and then went up against another person from the same team. This year, there was an extra steal added in the knockout rounds, allowing each judge to take five people to the Live Rounds, eliminating four of their current team members and allowing for one steal.

There were a lot of knock out rounds tonight, so let's get to the recapping!

The first knockout round was a Team Christina battle. The battle was between Amber Nicole, who chose to sing Jessie J's "Mamma Knows Best" (a personal favorite), and Josh Cogan, who chose "Livin' For the City" by Stevie Wonder. The coaches were evenly matched in who they though won the battle, but eventually Christina chose Josh as the winner of the battle. This wasn't the end for Amber though, who got a steal from both Blake and CeeLo. She chose CeeLo, using up CeeLo's steal for the knock outs, and allowing both contestants to Go On to the live rounds.

The next round was a Team CeeLo battle between Kat Robichaud, who sang "You Oughta Know" by Alanis Morrissette, and Monika Leigh who sang the famous Ray Charles song "Hit the Road Jack." Both girls gave wonderful sexy and powerful performances, but in the end, after endorsement from Christina and Adam, CeeLo chose Kat Robichaud, sending Monika Leigh home.

Team Blake was up next, with a knockout round between Holly Henry, who sang Radiohead's "Creep", and Nic Hawk, who sang a re-envisioned version of "Genie in a Bottle". Nic's creativity won him the knockout round, unfortunately sending Holly home.

Team Adam was next, a battle between two powerhouse singers: Ashley Dubose who sang "Hey Soul Sister" and Tessanne Chin who sang "Stronger" by Kelly Clarkson. The judges all seemed to appreciate both performances, but based on the Knockout, Adam chose Tessanne, because of how reliable her vocals were.

Team Blake went up again, with Briana Cuoco against Shelbie Z. Briana sang "Don't Speak" by No Doubt, while Shelbie stuck to her country roots and sang "Last Name" by Carrie Underwood. The confidence Shelbie portrayed in her song got her to the next round, sending Briana Cuoco home.

Team Adam's turn again, this time Adam pinned Grey against James Irwin. Grey sang Kelly Clarkson's "Already Gone", while James sang "Breakeven" by the Script. Again, Adam went with who was better at the moment rather than possible potential, and chose Grey, sending James home.

When it was Christina's turn, she had to put her two country singers in a knockout, Destinee Quinn, who sang "See You Again" by Carrie Underwood, and Olivia Henken, who sang "You're No Good" by Linda Rondstat. While Destinee gave an incredibly emotional performance, Olivia's confidence won her the battle, securing her a place in the live rounds.

The last Knockout Round of the night was Team CeeLo's Cole Vusbuy and Jonny Grey. Cole sang "Let Her Go" by Passenger and Jonny sang "We Can Work It Out" by The Beatles. Adam prefaced anything that was said that he would steal whomever CeeLo let go, so when Jonny won the battle, Adam immediately stole Cole. Of course, it's never that easy, Blake also used his steal again, and convinced Cole to join his team, much to Adam's dismay.

It was a crazy night full of Knockout Rounds, but that only makes me more excited or tomorrow's Knockouts, and I'm getting revved up for the Live Rounds! I'm excited to see what else is coming this season!
