It's the final night of The X Factor's new Four-Chair Challenge. It's time to finalize Simon's final four.
Simon filled all four of his seats last night, even though not every group deserved the spot. "I think I was partly drunk last night." I agree, Simon.
One of the judge-created groups, 3 teenage girls who have christened themselves Sweet Suspense, sings Wishing On a Star and they have super solid harmonies. Demi loves "the fact that [they] were put together a month ago and [their] blend sounds this amazing." Simon is definitely keeping them. And they take Wild Thingz's seat. Thank goodness!
Yellow House Canyon sings a personal favorite, Pistol Annies' Hell On Heels. They make it way too intense, in my opinion, because the subtle control of the Pistol Annies is my favorite part. They definitely don't sound fine-tuned enough even with the changes they made to the song. Demi believes that overall they don't have what it takes. Simon says, "You're not the best singers in the world, but you do bring energy." Despite that energy, the girls are going home.
Good News sings Landslide. They're fine, but something's not clicking. It's kind of boring. The judges generally agree that the girls aren't ready. They're going home.
Alex & Sierra sing a cool version of You're the One That I Want. They're just adorable together, even though Sierra constantly freaking out about Being onstage gets annoying. They're definitely best sound of the groups. They get Girls United's seat.
Roxxy Montana sings Michael Jackson's Man In the Mirror and it's wonderful. They're in, and I'm hoping Simon's smart enough to kick Forever In Your Mind out... and he is! I can't believe it! The boys are going home.
Simon's final four groups are Roxxy Montana, Restless Road, Alex & Sierra, and Sweet Suspense! We get to the final 16 perform in the live shows on October 29th.
