Lucious is officially a free man. Yay! All the Lyons' troubles are over. Just kidding, they're all miserable and that's why we tune in to watch.

Yes, after Uncle Vernon's crispy corpse showed up in the front seat of Roxanne Ford's car last week, Lucious' charges were mysteriously dropped since their star witness had "committed suicide." Roxanne also took some overdue PTO, funny how that works, isn't it? Lucious is throwing a big old party to celebrate and to announce the new President of the recently acuired Gutter Records, Mr. Andre Lyons. Andre is less than pleased to participate is his father's antics and is really just looking to succeed. He is also not that thrilled to have good old Thirsty on the payroll, either, as he knows he is pretty shady, even if it was he who succeeded in getting Lucious released. Meanwhile, Dre is also looking for salvation by confessing all his past sins to his family. He confesses to Hakeem and Jamal that it was he who staged the robbery that almost got Jamal shot. He confesses to Lucious that he did in fact try and kill himself. He invites them all to his baptism as he, and his Pastor, want the entire family present.

Lucious gets back to what he does best, and gets to producing Jamal's new single with Ne-Yo as well as Frank's daughter, Freda's, new single. Jamal really wants to bring Michael on tour against Lucious wishes. However, it's Ne-Yo that tells him to do what he needs to succeed. He and Michael have been in an open relationship, but he doesn't want that anymore. He adamantly refutes creepy artist, Chase's, advances, but is heartbroken when Michael succumbs to them. Freda, meanwhile, is having trouble finding her flow as she is missing her Dad. Lucious gives some, uncharacteristically good, fatherly advice to help her find her voice.

Tiana is a victim of an attack outside Lyon Dynasty and Cookie receives a video that they are now a target and will be "marked." She hires promoter, Delgado (Guest Star, Adam Rodriguez) to assist. He also comes in handy when they catch the studio being robbed by two men who are trying to steal their masters. And guess who sent them? Yup, Thirsty. Hakeem celebrates finding Laura to add to his girl group, but she quickly shoots him down when he hits on her and storms out claiming she's not like that. He apolgoizes to her and begs her to come back as he will never hit on her again.

The Lyons family all shows up at Dre's baptism, even Lucious who flashes back again to Kelly Rowland trying to kill him in the bathtub. He walks out as he can't handle the trauma of seeing Dre go into the water, but Dre sees it as a slight against him. I'm guessing their recent reunion as loving father and son is short-lived. At the end, Hakeem is seen jogging in the park, but is quickly captured Carrie Matheson style and shoved into a van: ABDUCTED!

It has been rumored that Delgado will be a new love interest for Cookie which was quite apparent right away as she complimented him for "Packing." I mean, she meant a gun, but... did she? Clearly, from the previews, they weren't just rumors. Speaking of love interests, anyone know what happened to Malcolm? Did Cookie just chew him up and spit him out? Never even mentioned...

Anyway, I don't know what to make of this group targeting Lyon Dynasty. Even though they say Thirsty was behind the robbery, is he behind the entire blackmailing scheme? Why do I suspect Delgado? Maybe because I'm terrible at this.

I did enjoy a brother bonding moment, finally, when Dre confessed his sins to Jamal and Hakeem. These three really need to start coming together so they can put up a united front against their parents. I'm wondering if Hakeem's abduction will aid in this process? I will say this, kidnappers, do you SERIOUSLY want to mess with a pissed off Lucious and Cookie Lyons? Are you really this stupid?

We'll have to wait two weeks to find out. Why? Because my New York Mets are playing in the World Series next week on FOX. Come on... you didn't think I wasn't going to mention it all, did you? LET'S GO METS!

Here's a preview for the next all new episode in two weeks:
