Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) continues to threaten both Teams FLASH and ARROW, forcing the gang to bring the fight to Central City, the home turf of Barry (aka THE FLASH, played by Grant Guston) and part two of our crossover event. Keep your eye on the target, we'll get you caught up.

This being ARROW, we begin with a flashback. Ancient Egypt. Egyptian Kendra (aka Hawkgirl, played by Ciara Renee) is displeased with the offering that Egyptian Carter (aka Hawkman, played by Falk Hentschal) has brought for the god Horus. Vandal Savage is also there. He is a high priestess in the court of the pharoah. He secretly follows them and sees them share a kiss.

Kendra awakes from the flashback. Ollie (aka Green ARROW, played by Stephen Amell) has moved both teams to an isolated farm house. He calls out the lack of security at S.T.A.R. Labs (despite the recent upgrade by Cisco --played by Carlos Valdes). Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) feels he has no room to talk, given that he is on his third lair. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) mentions only one of the lairs was compromised by the policy and then decides "to stop helping."

Cisco is crabbing about the roaming charges he'll incur at the isolated farm house (turns out, it belongs to Ollie's mom). Barry mentions the staff that Savage had was protect by some blue forcefield. Cailtin and Felicity immediately start to brainstorm how to neutralize it.

Thea (aka Speedy, played by Willa Holland) mentions she hasn't been able to dig up any intel on a reincarnated madman. Carter corrects her --Savage is immortal, not reincarnated. Diggle (David Ramsey) mentions that Savage as had to have left a trail and he's going to check in with A.R.G.U.S. to see what they know.

Ollie tells the team he is heading into town. Felicity is suspicious and confronts him. He makes a crack about Central City being too bright for him, but then get's serious and tells her he need to know for himself what they are going up against.

Cisco tries to break up with Kendra, but they are interrupted by Carter. He's carrying a box and tells Cisco it's private (aka get lost). Cisco attempts a graceful exit. Carter opens the box. It's Kendra's Hawkgirl armor. He wants her to suit up and remember her warrior priestess side. If not, they both will die again.

In town, Ollie isn't looking for intel on Savage, he's tracking down his ex Sandra Hawke (Anna Hopkins). He confronts her. She introduces her son as William (blowing my theory that this is Connor Hawke, aka Green Arrow II). She assures him that William is not his kid. When she drops his baseball cap, Ollie picks it up and returns it to her. She walks away and he opens his hand. He's grabbed a piece of William's hair from the ballcap.

Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) rings Ollie to warn him that Savage will destroy Central City to get what he wants. He tells Ollie to suit up and that "fleet feet" (FLASH) has already been alerted.

THE FLASH speeds over to the meeting place, passing himself as he does (which means there is going to be another time jump). Turns out, Merlyn has invited Savage to a meeting and wants to negotiate with him. On cue, Savage enters.

Savage reveals that he is motivated by the simple fear of not wanting to die. If he doesn't take Kendra and Carter's lifeforce, he dies. Green ARROW fires one into Savage's chest. He digs it out and mentions he taught Robin Hood how to fire a bow. If they do not turn over Kendra and Carter in 24 hours, Savage will not only destroy Central City, but everyone THE FLASH and Green ARROW hold dear. He leaves and Green ARROW avows that they are not giving the pair up to him. Merlyn tells him that isn't a decision that is his to make. Merlyn threatens Green ARROW: should Savage kill his daughter Thea, Merlyn will kill Green ARROW.

Back at the farm, Carter mentions that Savage once layed waste to a city and killed two million people to get to them (and succeeded). Ollie is resolved. They have 24 hours and will come up with a plan. Kendra is ready to turn herself over. Cisco moves to go talk to her, but Carter tells him he has it.

Cisco storms out of the farmhouse and runs into Barry. Barry is freaking out about seeing himself while running to the meeting. He is certain he is going to have to time jump again. Cisco won't vibe him, but assures him that maybe it is a good thing. Or, just maybe, knowing it now means he can change the future and not time jump.

Carter catches up to Kendra. She asks him if in all of their past lives if they have ever committed suicide. If Savage doesn't kill them, he doesn't gain their power. Carter tells her that's a crazy idea. She retorts that it is no crazier than the farmhouse of virtual strangers willing to risk their lives for the pair. Where she sees crazy, he sees nobility and honor. He goads her into trying to hit him. He's trying to make her made to evoke her warrior spirit. It works and her wings spring out of her back. Felicity interrupts the awkwardness. Diggle and Thea have returned with information.

Laurel (aka Black Canary, played by Katie Cassidy) is with them. She has found a beta video tape (Felicity cracks a joke about living in a digital world). It's from a conspiracy group who has been following Savage. It's from 1975 featuring a Professor Borgman. He warns that Savage will destroy their world as they know it if he isn't stopped. He hints that artifacts from his past might be able to stop him. Kendra has a hunch it is the staff (seeing as her vision showed that the staff belonged to Savage).

At the Central City Police Department, Barry gives Ollie the results from the DNA test he asked him to run. It's a match to the Y chromosomes and Ollie tells him not to tell anyone about it.

Felicity arrives and Barry tries to super-speed the paper into his pocket. She demands to see it and he shows her. He tells her it isn't a big deal and she reads it and tells him it is.

Ollie confronts Samantha and tells her he knows he is the boy's father. She comes clean that Ollie's mom gave her a million to say she miscarried. He doesn't believe her. She produces the check that Moira Queen wrote her. She never cashed it. She doesn't want Ollie anywhere near the boy. His life is too complicated. Ollie explains he has changed. She isn't hearing any of it, but relents on one condition. No one else can know about it.

Felicity confronts Ollie about being "off the secret-keeping wagon," and he lies to her (not knowing she already knows). She shows him the DNA test and tells him that Barry may not have known whose blood he was testing, but she does. She's hurt that he didn't come to her to test the blood. Ollicity may just be over after this. She doesn't think Ollie trusts her and she can't be with someone who doesn't trust her.

Ollie enters the farmhouse in battle mode. Savage doesn't know Kendra has her powers, so she'll attack. Ollie and Carter will be back up. Barry will speed in and, with the gloves that Caitlin and Felicity have crafted, steal the staff. Diggle, Laurel and Thea are upset about being left out, but Ollie doesn't want to risk any other lives.

Green ARROW and THE FLASH escort Hawkman and Hawkgirl to Savage. Green ARROW sucker punches Savage, FLASH smashes the Hawks' shackles. Hawkman's wings emerge, but Kendra panics and can't become Hawkgirl. Savage kills both Hawkman and Hawkgirl. Green ARROW tells Barry to run. Savage plunges the staff down, incinerating Green ARROW.

THE FLASH tries to outrun the destruction. Central City is destroyed as is the farmhouse and all our heroes in it. Barry passes himself from earlier (he's time jumped). He's back at the point where he met with Ollie and Merlyn.

Back at the farmhouse (does this constitute an ARROW flashback?), Barry comes clean. The plan won't work. Ollie wants to use that to their advantage and come up with a new plan. Barry mentions that the last time he messed with the timeline, it didn't end well. Ollie reminds him that it sounded like the future doesn't end well regardless.

Barry comes clean about the DNA test and Ollie's fight with Felicity. Ollie's head wasn't in the game because of it. The tech that Cailtin and Felicity have come up with doesn't work and everyone dies. Ollie assures him this time they won't. This time will be different.

First up, Ollie urges Cisco to fight for Kendra and help her achieve her greatness. Cisco relents. He tells Kendra Carter is wrong. She shouldn't focus on the warrior aspect, but rather the priestess. He urges her to close her eyes and remember.

Egyptian flashback #2. Kendra and Carter are in bed together. Savage walks in on them. He is in love with Kendra. Turns out, in sleeping together, they have broken some Egyptian law for which the penalty is death. Carter and Savage fight. Kendra grabs a dagger and stabs Savage. Savage pulls out the dagger and stabs Carter. He then stabs Kendra. As meteors shower down on the palace, Savage vows eternal revenge and Carter and Kendra vow to wait for each other in the next life. The staff and the dagger glow.

Kendra wakes from the memory. She knows how to beat Savage. The staff contains pieces of the meteor. The gloves being built will also need pieces of that meteor. Felicity remember that a musuem in Keystone (home of Earth-2 Flash Jay Garrick and Wally West) has one of the rocks. Barry speeds off and returns seconds later with it. Cisco advises he will synthisize it.

Diggle, Laurel and Thea ask what they can do. This time, Ollie tells them to suit up.

The meeting goes down initially as before, but Kendra sprouts her wings and knocks Savage down. Diggle and the rest of Team ARROW arrive in a black van. Canary is the first out and emits one of her signature screams disorienting Savage. THE FLASH grabs the staff. He shoots the blue energy at Savage. Green ARROW grabs the staff with him. Savage is incinerated and the staff disappears.

Later, Cisco theorizes that the roles may now be reversed with Carter and Kendra immortal and Savage capable of reincarnation. Given he's the villain in LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, I'd say that's a safe bet. Cisco and Kendra say their goodbyes. He's gives her a communicator he made out of the nth metal from the meteorite. He tells her to call him if she is ever in trouble.

Barry tells Ollie he should tell Felicity as Barry fears a backlash from messing with the timeline. Ollie has decided not to suck William into Ollie's madness, though. Barry urges him to reconsider, given Barry had to grow up without his father.

We have a repeat of the scene with Sandra. Ollie again agrees not to tell Felicity, but also agrees to tell William he is just a friend of William's mom. He goes up to William's room, where William is playing with his FLASH action figure. Ollie mentions he has met THE FLASH and he is one of the nicest guys Ollie knows. Ollie picks up the Captain Cold action figure and they play superhero.

Back at the loft, Felicity confronts Ollie. He tells her it doesn't matter as it is over and he is back home with her.

Final moment: Merlyn retrieves some of Savage's ashes and vows that he will rise again to follow Carter and Kendra in this life and the next. I suspected Merlyn knew more than he was letting on.
