Part two of the two day cross-over has Team ARROW investigating Captain Boomerang, but it might take THE FLASH to crack the case. Let's draw the bow and dive in, shall we?

Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) show up at Felicity's office. On Last night's ep of THE FLASH, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) had asked Caitlin to run some DNA tests on the arrows pulled from the body of Canary. Felicity had planned on mailing them to S.T.A.R. labs in Central City, but Cisco uses it as an excuse to take a peek at the Arrow Cave and all of Oliver's toys. Oliver (Stephen Amell) is less than thrilled. Roy (aka Arsenal, played by Colton Haynes) has the best line of the scene:"Since when did we start selling admission to the ARROW cave?"

While the rest of Team ARROW host Team FLASH, Diggle (David Ramsey) is following up on a lead on the dead guy who took a boomerang to the back. Turns out the guy was an A.R.G.U.S. Good thing Diggle's ex-wife Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson) works there. Diggle pays his ex a visit just as the entire building goes on lockdown. Captain Boomerang (aka George Harkness, played by Nick Tarabay) has breached their security, leaving a trail of bodies in his wake.

ARROW and Arsenal arrive on the scene. Boomerangs and arrows fly. It's a draw with Harkness disappearing in a cloud of smoke.

Turns out Harkness was on A.R.G.U.S.' payroll for an assasination attempt that went south. His team was terminated (Lyla uses the word "sanitized" which makes it sound even worse). For some reason, Harkness survived and might possibly be out for revenge.

Back at the ARROW cave, Barry (Grant Gustin) uses his super speed to re-assemble the fragments of the boomerangs taken from the hit on A.R.G.U.S. Cisco examines them and recognizes a weapon designer's signature pieces on the device. Diggle, Arsenal, THE FLASH and ARROW infiltrate the Russian mob's hideout to find the guy. Barry, as you would imagine, does most of the work. He knocks out and ties up most of the bad guys before Oliver has even entered the door. They track down the weapon maker. Oliver shoots him in the arm and tortures him to find out what he knows about Harkness. Barry does not approve of Oliver's methods, but they got a cell phone Harkness calls to place his orders.

Back at the ARROW cave, Felicity is able to reverse trace the call and they pinpoint Harkness' hideout. The boys go to aprehend the bad guy, leaving Felicity, Lyla and Caitlin in the cave. It's all a ruse, though. Harkness has traced the weapon dealer's phone and descends into the cave. Lyla fires several rounds at Harkness. It takes one boomerang to take her down. Caitlin stabilizes her. The boys arrive back and Barry races her to the hospital.

The attack causes much soul-searching. Cisco and Caitlin have been given a big dose of reality (yes, what you are doing is actually dangerous). Oliver questions whether he has gone to far. Barry assures him there still is a light within him.

Felicity interupts the buding bromance to tell them she has a hit on Harkness. The pair rush to the train station, but Harkness has an end game. There are five bombs planted around the city. Our heroes can take Harkness in, or they can save the city, but they can't do both.

Back at the cave, the team is able to locate all the bombs, but they are all connected. Diffuse one and the rest will go off. All five will have to be diffused at once. Since Barry can't be in five places at once, he does the next best thing: he grabs Caitlin, Cisco, Felicity and Roy and plants them at the four other locations. The team is able to save the day together. Boomerang is put on the same island as ARROW baddie Slade. The teams trade parting gifts (Oliver has a display case for an extra Flash suit, Cisco give Oliver a lighter, more durable suit). There is the promise of future team ups and one final piece of business: in a head-to-head battle between THE FLASH and ARROW, who would stand as victor? The boys set out to find out as the credits roll.

And the first ARROW/FLASH crossover event comes to a close. Some humor was brought to ARROW and some reality was brought to THE FLASH. What did you guys think? Comment below and follow me @triggercric and follow @BWWTVWorld for all the latest updates, scoops and recaps.
