White Canary (aka Sara Lance, played by Caity Lotz) is back fighting crime, Ray Palmer (aka The Atom, played by Brandon Routh) is alive and being held captive somewhere and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) gets a visit from her mom Donna (Charlotte Ross). It's a jam-packed ep, but we've got our eye on the target and we'll get you caught up.

We begin with with Flashback #1: Ray is testing his Atom suit's minaturization capabilities. First attempt yields nothing. Second attempt causes an explosion that blows out the top floor windows of Palmer Tech and sends Ray falling.

Back to the present, Ollie (aka Green ARROW, played by Stephen Amell) and Thea (aka Speedy, played by Willa Holland) nosh on Chinese takeout while Ollie's campaign manager Alex Davis (Parker Young) goes over fundraising and campaign issues. Ollie leaves to check in on Felicity (she was supposed to be at this meeting. Davis uses his alone time to ask Thea out. She shoots him down because her life is "complicated."

At Palmer Tech, Felicity replays Ray's message over and over again hoping to gleam more than "I'm alive and I'm in trouble" from it. Curtis (aka Mr. Terrific, played by Echo Kellum) arrives and asks when she last took a break. Ollie arrive moments later, giving Curtis the best line of the night as he reminds himself that Ollie is "very straight, very straight, very straight." Yes, though married to another man, Curtis appears to like Ollie. Felicity catches Ollie up to speed: message came six days ago. Ray is alive.

Flashback #2: Ollie is showing the drug runners the temple that Constantine found last week. The head bad guy has the orb that Constantine gave to Ollie. He shines it on the wall to reveal symbols that he reads to mean "heart of water." He wants Ollie to take some of the slave labor and excavate a cove until they find his gift.

Over at the Lance home, Sara is on the phone breaking the news to her mom that she is alive (again; this is the second time she has "faked" her own death). Laurel (aka Black Canary, played by Katie Cassidy) hugs her. Dad Quentin (Paul Blackthorne) is just glad to have both of his daughters under one roof again.

Ollie tries to get Felicity to shower and take a nap, but she gets an alert that her job has finished compiling tracing Ray's message. She's able to get a live feed. We see Ray. He tells them both that the suit worked a little too well. He's been minaturized and is being held in a glass box atop a desk somewhere.

Fortunately, the original schematics for the suit are still at Palmer Tech. Ollie offers to go with Felicity, but she tells him it's not like he could build a second suit (so he's pretty useless).

Curtis isn't useless, however. Felicity asks him to build the suit. Only problem is one of the parts, a quantum manifold, is only available from Kord Industries (In the comics, Kord is run by Ted Kord, aka The Blue Beetle). Kord happens to be Palmer Tech's biggest competitor. And to make matters wors, Felicity's mom shows up uninvited again.

While Felicity is busy with a spa day with her mom, Green ARROW agrees to break into Kord Industries and steal the part they need. Diggle (David Ramsey), Black Canary, White Canary and Speedy are all with him, too. Cameras are supposed to be offline, but come back online. Green ARROW shoots three arrows at once, knocking all of them out, but alerting building security. A guard confronts White Canary and she pounds the snot out of the guy. Team ARROW makes a quick exit with part in hand.

Ray radios Felicity and she tells him they have the part. The feed cuts out, but not before Felicity sees Ray's captor: Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough).

Back at the compound, Ollie wants to use Lance to find out where Darhk is holding Ray. He also wants to take Felicity's mind off of waiting and offers to cook dinner for her and her mom. Only problem is he has already made the plans with mom before Felicity has agreed to it.

Flashback: Ollie brings food to the woman he helped escape two eps back. He wants to know if the head bad guy has previously shown any sign of being interested in magic. He has.

Damien has had a camera on tiny Ray and knows Ray has been speaking to a Felicity. He wants Ray's help to build another Atom suit or he's going to harm her.

At the loft, Felicity comes clean to Ollie why she's been such a bitch: she blames herself for not getting the destress calls from Ray until only after she and Ollie moved back to Star City. Ollie realizes it isn't about Ray, it's about their relationship and he offers to give her space until she figures it out. Could this be the end of Ollicity?

Ollie seeks solice at the compound, where he and Diggle share a drink. Ollie is filled with self-doubt. He isn't as smart as Felicity or tech savvy as Ray and he isn't quite sure why Felicity is with him.

Quentin meets with Damien under the guise of asking him to help with Sara (though, this is partially true; Sara still isn't quite right). Damien, after all, knows about magic. Damien says he'll consider it, but warns Quentin this is the last time Quentin will summon him.

Diggle is able to tail Damien back to the building he's been hiding in, though. It's maximum security. At the compound, Team ARROW discusses strategy. Ollie decides that Curtis will have to assemble the shrink ray to unshrink Ray in the field. Felicity expresses concern that the Palmer Tech health plan may not cover injuries sustained by the supernatural. Sara offers to come, but everyone thinks that is a bad idea given what she did to the Kord security guard. She assures them she needs to prove to herself that she can control her aggression. Ollie and Laurel relent.

On a rooftop, Green ARROW is about to enter when he is knocked out by an armed and masked henchman of Damien's. Green ARROW is chained up, Damien examines the quiver of arrows rather smugly. The masked henchman enters the elevator, takes of his mask (it's Diggle) and says "the package has been delivered."

This leaves Felicity and Curtis to do the heavy lifting. Namely, they are going to jump from the top of a building down into Damien's one. They crash through a window. The rest of Team ARROW springs into action elsewhere, creating a distraction.

Felicity and Curtis are able to restore Ray to normal. Things aren't going well for Ollie, though (Damien has used his magic powers to send a chain around his neck, choking him). He uses a flash bomb to blind Damien, giving him a chance to run. Sara also doesn't have control of her anger just yet. She snaps a guy's neck even as Laurel and Thea plead with her not to. She makes the decision to leave Star City to start over.

At the loft, Ollicity is back in full force. Felicity tells Ollie they are going to make it as a couple because "we found ourselves in each other."

Romance is definitely in the air as Quentin and Felicity's mom share a moment talking about their kids and Thea decides to take Davis up on his offer for dinner/drinks. Before we can devolve into a romcom, it's back to Damien Darhk's place. A nerdy scientist explains that they managed to capture some residue from when Ray was restored and can reverse engineer it. Damien is super pleased and unfolds a box to reveal what looks to be a circuit board. He wants them to test the device on it. And with that, our ep comes to a close. Thoughts?
