Some people say they believe in love at first. They might even say that some people are just meant to be. That is exactly how I feel about Beyoncé and myself but that's neither here nor there.

Really though, do you believe in fate? What about destiny? Are some things "meant to be?" Well that is exactly what NBC's new romantic comedy A TO Z is all about figuring out.

Let's begin with the basics. There's the precious, yet complicated Zelda, played with effortlessness and charm by Cristin Milioti (HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, Broadway's ONCE), who was raised by hippies and has now grown up to be a successful lawyer who currently really isn't into dating.

Then there's Andrew, played by former MAD MEN star Ben Feldman, who just so happens to be a hopeless romantic, one that is so passionate about helping others find happiness, that he works at a dating website.

In a slick move to help Zelda find love, her best friend Stephie signed her up for the dating site "Wallflower." All seemed to be going well until a glitch in the website sets up Zelda with another woman. In an attempt to get her money back from the joke of a dating site, she bumps into Andrew on the way to the offices of the site that sent her astray. Being the committed hopeless romantic that he is, Andrew is convinced that he's seen her before and, even more, that it has to be fate that they've been reacquainted.

Zelda on the other hand isn't so sure, and quickly brushes him off. After being pursued by Andrew, Zelda decides to go out for drinks with him. While sitting at the bar talking about bands, it hits him; years ago at a concert he was taken back by a certain girl in a silver dress.

That girl, he believes, was Zelda. Dun dun dun!

Not giving up, Andrew enlists the help of some of his coworkers to dig into the Internet to prove they were both at the same concert. Sure, some call that creepy, but I see it as romantic and determined.

Good news is that they both went to see the band; bad news is that Zelda was there on a different night. When he gets busted for snooping, Zelda shuts him down until she realizes that no one has ever tried that hard to win her over before, and she finally admits that she went to both nights of the concert, and that she was in fact Andrew's girl in a silver dress; and furthermore, remembers him as well.

Let's all say it together now, "AWWWWWW!" It seems, folks, we've got ourselves a couple! However, the show it will only span the eight months, three weeks, five days, and one hour of their dating relationship. The question is, what happens when that time expires? Do they break up? Do they get engaged? Only time will tell. I, for one, am excited to see where this show will go. The chemistry between Milioti and Feldman alone is worth so much more airtime. What did you think?
