ARROW returns on Wednesday on The CW and while last season may have ended on a happy note with Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) litterally driving off into the sunset, you can pretty much bet that their domestic bliss will be short-lived.

What else can we expect this season?

This season's big baddie: Though we can expect Malcolm Merlyn (Broadway and West End vet John Barrowman) to continue to tango with Team Arrow, master criminal (and, ironically, Merlyn's nemesis) Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough, who previously played Marvel hero Dum Dum Dugan in CAPTAIN AMERICA and AGENT CARTER) will be this season's big baddie.

Two characters rise from the ashes: CONSTANTINE may have been cancelled by NBC, but Matt Ryan (above) will get a second chance to play the character in the fifth episode this season. It seems someone is going to try and resurrect Sara Lance (the original Black Canary, played by Caity Lotz). Though we shouldn't say "try" as we already know Lotz will appear as White Canary on the spin-off LEGENDS OF TOMORROW that will debut in early 2016.

New heroes: After three seasons of playing hero in his street clothes, John Diggle (David Ramsey) will finally SUIT UP as a yet to be revealed masked vigilante. Internet reaction to the costume has decidedly negative with one commentor referring to the outfit as "Black Magneto" because of the costume similarities to Marvel's villain.

Also joining the mix is Echo Kellum as Curtis Holt aka Mr. Terrific.

Name changes: After three seasons, Oliver will finally add the "Green" to his alter ego's title; his comic book counterpart has been using it since 1941. The show's fictional city Starling City is also being rebranding Star City as it is also named in the DC comic.
