BOY MEETS WORLD Star Rider Strong to Tie the Knot

According to USA Today, Rider Strong is getting married to Alexandra Barreto in Oregon on Sunday. He told People mag, "I'm incredibly lucky to be getting married to my best friend and partner-in-crime."

Strong, 33, played Cory Matthews' best friend Shawn Hunter on ABC's cult favorite sitcom Boy Meets World.

E! News reports it'll be a camping-themed wedding with "everyone sleeping in bunks, a ropes course, games, a talent show," according to Strong. He adds, "Let's hope it doesn't rain too much."

The couple met on the series Pepper Dennis in 2006 and worked together again on the horror film Tooth and Nail that year.

According to People, Strong proposed to Barreto with a ring he made himself. "I spent weeks making the ring in secret," says Strong. "I carved the ring out of wax, cast it in white gold and had my dad make a wooden ring box for me. My dad made my mom's ring, so I was following in his footsteps."
