NBC Deportes presents an epic "Boxeo Telemundo Ford" battle for the WBO's Latin Flyweight title between Gánigan "El Maravilla" López and Juan "Paisita" López this Friday, October 30 at 11:35PM/10:35C on TELEMUNDO. Set to last 10 rounds, all of the action will air live from Mexico City's Blackberry Auditorium, with expert analysis by René Giraldo and Edgar López.
Gánigan López (25-6, 16KO) is determined to return to the
GLORY days when he defeated Mario "Dragoncito" Rodríguez by referee decision after 12 intense rounds to win the WBC's International Mini Flyweight title in January 2014. Almost exactly one year ago, in November 2014, he went on to beat Genaro "Rapidito" Ríos with a technical KO after just three rounds.
This will be the first appearance in Mexico City for Juan López (13-3, 7KO). He won both of his fights last year in his home state of Veracruz, beating Germán Garao by KO in four rounds in May and Oscar Fuentes by unanimous decision two months earlier.
