BET to Serve Up Hip Hop All Night Long Next Week

BET does it for the culture and serves up hip hop all night long on Tuesday, October 10. Kicking off the celebration is the first-ever "LIP SYNC BATTLE HIP HOP AWARDS EDITION", hosted by entertainment icon and Grammy(R) Award-winner LL Cool J and supermodel Chrissy Teigan, with celebrities lighting up the stage including T-Pain, Anika Noni Rose, Remy Ma and Jay Pharaoh. "LIP SYNC BATTLE HIP HOP AWARDS EDITION" premieres 10/10 at 7 PM ET/PT.

Major key alert! Host DJ Khaled and friends will heat things up in Miami with the premiere of the BET "HIP HOP AWARDS" 2017. Mega-producer and 'Anthem King' DJ Khaled, Grammy(R) Award-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar and industry newcomer Cardi B lead the BET "HIP HOP AWARDS" 2017 nominees with 9 impressive nods each. BET pays homage to the legendary LUTHER "Uncle Luke" Campbell as he is named the "I Am Hip Hop" Award honoree. Tune in to the hottest performances by DJ Khaled, Cardi B, Migos, Yo Gotti, Rick Ross, Trina, Trick Daddy, Flo Rida, T-Pain, Playboi Carti, Plies and many more. BET "HIP HOP AWARDS" 2017 premieres 10/10 at 8PM ET/PT.

Capping off the night, is the return of Irv "Gotti" Lorenzo's anthology series "TALES" with Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen" starring Lance Gross and Michelle Mitchenor. This season of "TALES" will feature the songs: 99 Problems by Jay Z, You Got Me by The Roots ft. Erykah Badu and All I Need by Method Man ft. Mary J. Blige. Tami Roman, Jim Jones, Demetrius Shipp Jr., Peyton Alex Smith, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Rhyon Nicole Brown, Kyndall Ferguson, Sean Baker and more will star in the celebrity-packed episodes. "TALES" premieres 10/10 at 10 PM ET/PT.

BET "HIP HOP AWARDS" 2017

BET DIGITAL takes a fashionable stroll down memory by recreating iconic hip hop looks with the BET "HIP HOP AWARDS" 2017 companion series STYLE + ICON: BACK TO THE FUTURE. Revisit looks from the late 80's inspired by Salt-N-Pepa and LL Cool J; the 90's with Aaliyah and Tupac, the early 2000's with Kimora Lee Simmons and Nelly. And finally, the 2010's with Rihanna and Kanye look.
