BAFTA winner Andrew Scott to Mentor 10 Aspiring Actors

Creative network IdeasTap today launched a unique mentoring programme with acclaimed BAFTA-winning actor Andrew Scott (Moriarty in SHERLOCK). This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for up to 10 emerging actors to receive career advice and mentoring from Andrew Scott over a six-month period.

Andrew Scott and IdeasTap will select a company of 10 actors and create a bespoke programme of mentoring sessions around their needs including audition and industry masterclasses, one-to-one consultations with Andrew, free headshots, showreel clips (professionally shot and edited) and CV reviews. This unprecedented opportunity, due to commence in September 2013, will run for a period of six months.

Andrew Scott recently completed filming The Comedy feature film THE STAG in Ireland and played the lead in acclaimed drama THE TOWN. Andrew won the 2012 BAFTA for best supporting actor for his role as Moriarty in the BBC mega-hit SHERLOCK.

Other awards include the Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement, the IFTA award for Best Actor in a Film, the BBC Audio Drama award for Best Supporting Actor, the Shooting Star award at the Berlin Film Festival as well as a Drama League nomination for his Broadway debut in THE VERTICAL HOUR with Julianne Moore.
