Award-winning web series "Living The Dream" returns with its highly anticipated first season. The show's pilot garnered the prestigious "Best Episode Award" at the LA Femme Film Festival and "New Media Award" at The Hollywood Festival of New Cinema.

"This show proves that funny women are relevant in entertainment," says the show's creator and producer, Monica Torres. "Moms-especially Hollywood moms here in LA-have such hilarious stories about female bonding, marriage, and friendship."

Living the DREAM SEASON 1 Episode 1

"These characters are discovering who they are and where they belong-one disappointment at a time," says Torres, who is herself a mom, comedy writer and staunch proponent of happy hour. Having kids and a full-time job made pursuing acting work nearly impossible, so Torres took matters into her own hands and devised "Living The Dream" as a creative property to spawn collaboration among talent in and around Hollywood.

The series is an adaptation of a comedy Torres wrote and work-shopped at the Bang Theater Company. It tracks three friends as they procrastinate their way through motherhood and careers, trying to hang onto their former creativity and ambition. But they're at the stage where a "plum role" entails shilling
Gyne-Lotrimin, or worse, being cast as "Sexy Grandma No. 2." It's enough to make a girl CHUG a bottle of pinot grigio.

Torres' company, LolaMon Studios, brought in creative partner Justo Diaz to co-produce and act as a creative consultant for the series. Diaz specializes in marketing creative projects to the masses. The ensemble cast includes Sabrina Hill, Laura Pursell, David Carrera, Michael Halpin, David Jung and Monica Torres. Indie director Beth Dewey ("Erasing Eden") helmed the pilot episode, which was selected for the LA Shorts Festival, Burbank Film Festival and an award of merit in the Best Shorts Competition. The second episode was directed by Traci Hays.
