THE SEEKER is a groundbreaking new movie that has been winning awards at film festivals across the United States. Set to be released in select theaters nationwide in January of 2017, The Seeker is one of a small handful of feature-length narrative dramas to land on Entertainment Weekly's "Must List". According to film critic Joe Neumaier of the Tribeca Shortlist, "Anyone who's ever heard echoes of their childhood during times of crisis or contemplation - meaning, anyone breathing - will be utterly swept away." The film stars Josh Radnor (Mercy Street, How I Met Your Mother) along with Alex McKenna (What Women Want).

The award winning film The Seeker was created by the indie rock band Cloud Cult. It is a story of Grace, a daughter whose idyllic life is turned upside-down by immense tragedy. As she grows older, her cynicism and apathy towards her new reality is challenged by a reminder from the past that sets her on a pilgrimage that will define her.

The Seeker film has been showing at select "SNEAK PEEK" viewings across the US as well as film festivals. It won the "BEST OF FEST" in the Visual Music category at the Speechless Film Festival. Despite fierce competition from a record number of movie releases in 2016, Sarasota Film Festival's Michael Dunway calls The Seeker "One of the top 8 films not to miss this year." Dunway says of the film, "What makes the film unusual is that it has no dialogue. The only sounds come from music by the band Cloud Cult. But the silent storytelling is expertly done. It sounds strange to say, but you don't miss the dialogue." Jason Carney, the executive director of the Phoenix Film Festival, picked The Seeker as one of the "10 Don't Miss Movies" (out of more than 150) in his interview with the Arizona Republic.

Jeff D. Johnson, director of The Seeker, says of the coming national theater release of the film, "We are blown away with how well our film has been received by the critics so far. We are excited to share it with the public as it hits theaters nationwide." Tickets to these events must be prepurchased online.
