Author and Comedian Hannah Hart Signs First Look Deal with Lionsgate

Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B), a premier next generation global content leader, announces its first-look deal with comedic entertainer and author, Hannah Hart (Dirty 30, Camp Takota).

Ms. Hart and Lionsgate have entered a first-look deal where she will star-in and executive produce films. The first project in development is described as an untitled LGBTQ romantic comedy.

"Having worked with Hannah on several successful projects, we know that her distinctive world view, comedic timing and dedication to fresh content is what makes her an impressive writer, producer and star, as well as the influential internet sensation that she is."

Ms. Hart continues to produce her Youtube weekly series My Drunk Kitchen. Her New York Times Best Seller of the same name reached #6 in the advice category, followed by her second best-selling collection of personal stories, Buffering. Ms. Hart starred in and co-produced Lionsgate's successful feature Dirty 30 alongside Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart. In 2015, Ms. Hart was named as one of Forbes 30 Under 30 Who Are Changing the World in the Hollywood and Entertainment category. Ms. Hart can also be seen later this year in a series she created and hosts for Food Network that follows her across the country while she tries delicious regional specialties all the while highlighting her adventurous spirit and penchant for humor.

Ms. Hart is represented by UTA, attorney Ryan Pastorek, and managed by Linnea Toney. The deal was negotiated for Lionsgate by Gary Gradinger.
