"Gran Hermano," produced by Endemol Shine Latino, the Hispanic division of Endemol Shine North America, and licensed exclusively to TELEMUNDO, is the first U.S. Spanish-language reality show based on the worldwide hit format Big Brother. The show begins when 14 strangers, U.S. Hispanics, who commit to living together for 13 weeks in a house with no connection to the outside world, surrounded by dozens of cameras and microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Each week, both participants and Telemundo viewers will vote to decide who gets to leave the house, until the last remaining house guest wins the grand prize.

This Big Brother format launched worldwide in Holland in 1999. From that moment, the program became a big international success and has been watched by billions of fans around the world, in over 110 countries, including the U.S. version that became a great rating success this summer.
