Not simply a web series, The Curious Cook invites its viewers, friends, and fans to participate and engage. Hosted by Athena Reich and Jase Grimm, The Curious Cook helps viewers learn new recipes and meet intriguing GLBT guests in the community.

Athena Reich is an award winning singer/songwriter, actress TV Host / Personality, Lady Gaga impersonator and Arts Educator. She has performed and taught in performance halls, colleges, and on radio & TV across North America & Europe. Athena is originally from Toronto, but is currently based out of New York City. Athena is the original host of The Curious Cook and won "Best Host" at LA Web Fest for season 1. She started experimenting with recipes when she was 10 years old, and loves bringing creativity to the kitchen. Athena has always been out as a public figure and is passionate about featuring other prominent members of the LGBT community on the show.

Jase Grimm was raised amongst the bluffs in the driftless region of the midwest by his amazing, eclectic family. After a brief stint dabbling in the arts he found his calling at Le Cordon Bleu, Chicago and began his culinary career as a dishwasher the vegetarian Handlebar where he learned to bust his ass and show no mercy in the kitchen. Under the guidance of bitchin lesbian chef, Jennifer Cooley, Jase quickly moved up through the ranks and by the time he graduated with his Associates in Culinary arts, he was a full blown line cook. Bidding adieu to the midwest, his calling has taken him on cooking adventures from Alaska to Antarctica and finally landed him in The Hustle and bustle of Manhattan and on the set of The Curious Cook. Jase has now been cooking professionally for 6 years and his food can be described as simple, honest and comforting; he emphasizes the use of local, organic and seasonal ingredients and doesn't skimp when it comes to calories or flavor.
