As first reported on Deadline.com, TWO AND A HALF MEN stars Ashton Kutcher, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones will be returning to the CBS comedy for a 10th season. The three stars contracts will expire at the end of the current season and according to the report, they have agreed to sign on for new one-year deals. Next season will be the second for Kutcher who replaced Charlie Sheen in the series.
The salaries for the trio will reportedly remain at their current status, with all three receiving signing bonuses. Kutcher is believed to be earning about $700,000 per episode, Cryer slightly less and Jones $300,000 an episode. Jones’ bonus at the last contract re-signing was $500,000.
The network plans to have a strong comedy block on Monday and Thursday nights. TWO AND A HALF MEN, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory and 2 Broke Girls, would provide strong anchors at 8 PM and 9 PM on both nights.
