Ashley Tisdale to Star in Louis CK CBS Pilot

According to Deadline.com, actress Ashley Tisdale will star in the currently untitled CBS comedy pilot from Louis CK and Spike Feresten. 

The 'High School Muscial' star will have the lead role in the pilot which follows "an ensemble of young people trying to achieve their creative dreams in these tough financial times." Tisdale will portray Petra, described as a "beautiful and sarcastic assistant to a vintage clothing designer struggling to carve out her niche in New York."

Louis CK and Spike Feresten penned the script which is an updated version of a script written 13 years ago. The pilot will be produced by BermanBraun, Universal TV and CBS TV Studios. Tisdale has most recently been seen on TV in the CW series 'Hellcats'. She also lends her voice to the Disney animated series 'Phineas and Ferb'.
