Ashley Tisdale is WICKED Hopeful

Disney Star Ashley Tisdale stopped by Sirius/XM's Live on Broadway show on Wednesday, April 13 to chat about her career and her upcoming projects.

While best known for her role as Sharpay Evans in Disney's HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL movies, Tisdale told radio host Seth Rudetsky that she is no stranger to live theater. At only 8 years old, she was cast in the role of Young Cozette in both the National and International Touring Company of LES MISERABLE.

Tisdale was hesitant at first to admit she would consider a return to live theater. "I loved it, but I think that for me, I love TV and movies and I want to do more of that", she explained to Rudetsky. Yet when asked if she would consider the option of a three month stint on Broadway she enthusiastically replied, "Maybe if it's a show that I absolutely love. I mean I love WICKED so maybe WICKED".

Ashley Tisdale currently stars as cheerleading captain Savanna Monroe in the CW series, HELL CATS. She reprises her role as diva Sharpay Evans in the upcoming HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL installment, "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure".
