Ashley Tisdale Joins New CBS Comedy PANDAS IN NEW YORK

According to Deadline, actress Ashley Tisdale has been cast in the new CBS comedy pilot from Ajay Sahgal. The show is titled PANDAS IN NEW YORK. She joins the previously announced cast of Hina Abdullah, Dan O'Brien, Nisha Munshi, Bernard White and Gita Reddy. The pilot will be directed by Mark Cendrowski. Ashley Tisdale is perhaps best known as Maddie Fitzpatrick in the Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and as Sharpay Evans in the High School Musical franchise. She had the leading role in the horror comedy film Scary Movie 5 (2013) and has continued to appear in television roles, joining the main cast of CLIPPED (2015). She also serves as executive producer of the ABC Family television series Young & Hungry. In September 2015, Tisdale was named creative director of Signorelli. She launched her Illuminate makeup brand in 2016.

She is also an accomplished singer, having released two successful albums, Headstrong (2007) and Guilty Pleasure (2009). Her production company, Blondie Girl Productions has produced a number of successful shows, including Miss Advised, Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure, Young + Hungry and Daphne & Velma, to name a few.
