Ashley Greene to Star in ABC Drama Pilot AMERICANA

According to Deadline.com, actress Ashley Greene will star in the upcoming ABC drama pilot AMERICANA. She will join co-star Anthony LaPaglia in the soap which centers on a well-known family in the fashion industry. Michael Seitzman will write the script and will executive produce along with Mark Gordon, Nick Pepper and Phillip Noyce, who will also direct the pilot.

AMERICANA focuses on fashion icon Robert Soulter (LaPaglia), described as "the patriarch of a sprawling family who just welcomed a new member, Alice Clarke (Greene), a young designer whose shocking arrival turns the family and the legendary label inside out."

Greene is best known for her role as 'Alice' in the popular Twilight Saga film franchise.
