Aseem Batra Nabs Office Comedy Pilot Order at NBC

According to Deadline, NBC has ordered an untitled office comedy from ANIMAL PRACTICE's Aseem Batra.

Batra's script is described as "a politically incorrect office comedy centered on best friends Dale and Georgie whose relationship is upended when he starts dating the 'perfect' woman."

Joe and Anthony Russo are producing alongside Batra for Universal TV.

Batra launched her career as a writer and actress on SCRUBS, followed by THE CLEVELAND SHOW. She has also written for BENT, SEAN SAVES THE WORLD and BAD JUDGE.
