Armand Leo Joins Blue Ice Pictures as Executive Vice President  Image

Lance Samuels, President of Blue Ice Pictures is pleased to announce that veteran executive, Armand Leo, has joined the company as Executive Vice President of Production and Creative Affairs. Leo comes to Blue Ice Pictures with a strong background in film and television from his tenure at eOne where he was Senior Vice President.

"We are thrilled to have Armand join Blue Ice Pictures. His wealth of knowledge and vast experience make him a great asset to the Blue Ice team," says Samuels.

Armand Leo was the Senior Vice President, Global Physical Production at Entertainment One from 2011 into 2018. He was responsible for overseeing production across the studio's film, television and digital slates. Over the years, Leo has worked with most broadcasters and networks throughout Canada and the United States. Most recently, he has worked with HBO on their upcoming mini-series, Sharp Objects, starring Amy Adams; The AUDIENCE Network on Season 2 of Ice, Hell on Wheels; with AMC, CBS and CORUS on Season 2 of Ransom; CTV on Season 3 of Cardinal; CORUS on Season 2 of Mary Kills People and Private Eyes; and with the CBC on Burden of Truth.

Prior to joining eOne in 2011, Leo worked as a TV and feature film producer. Some of his credits include Rookie Blue, Saving Hope, The Day Reagan Was Shot, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Amelia, Hairspray and Shoot 'Em Up. Previously, Leo served as Executive in Charge of Production at Dufferin Gate Productions in Toronto working on over 30 films for Showtime over a two-year span.
