Explained a physician on this morning's GOOD MORNING AMERICA, "A vocal cord hermorrhage is when some of the tiny blood vessels within the soft tissue of the vocal cord ruptures, causing essentially a bruise." She added, "It's important to rest The Voice in order to prevent long-term damage. The singer, who many are calling 'The New Voice of Pop,' has been forced to cancel upcoming performances due to the condition. GRANDE, who starred in the original cast of Broadway's '13', teamed up with a diverse bevy of friends for her debut album.
