Anne Hathaway Politely Avoids Paparazzi At LAX

Academy Award-winning LES MISERABLES actress Anne Hathaway was caught in an awkward paparazzi situation unfortunately all too par for the course for an internationally recognized star of her stature earlier this week, but handled it with incredible inventiveness and politeness as we can see in a new video.

The stage and screen star was caught on camera by TMZ exiting LAX airport and being ushered into a waiting SUV, only to then be told that the vehicle was not actually reserved for her.

Given the swarm of paps surrounding her, she asks the inhabitant of the waiting vehicle if she can wait with him inside until her car arrives, clearly as to avoid the press vultures just outside.

"May I wait in your car until my car gets her?" she asks pleasantly.

A moment later, her actual car arrives, prompting the paparazzi to hassle her further, though she pays them no mind or attention whatsoever.
