Two-time Academy Award Nominee & Emmy Winner Ann-Margret (Grumpy old Men, Bye, Bye Birdie), Emmy Award-winner Jane Curtin (The Spy Who Dumped Me, "Saturday Night Live"), Emmy Award-winner Christopher Lloyd (Going in Style, Back To The Future) and Emmy Award-winner Loretta Devine ("Grey's Anatomy", Waiting to Exhale) will join the upcoming Welcome to Pine Grove! directed by Michael Lembeck from a screenplay by Donald Martin. The actors join Academy Award-winner Ellen Burstyn and Academy Award-nominee James Caan in this Mean Girls meets "Golden Girls" romantic comedy. The Astute Films production is currently filming in Atlanta.

Burstyn stars as Helen Wilson, an independent widow who reluctantly moves into the Pine Grove Senior Community after accidentally setting her home on fire. Helen quickly realizes that it's just like being back in high school where mean girls Janet, Margot & Sally rule and men like Arthur enjoy the 10-1 ratio of women to men!

Janet, played by Curtin, is the self-appointed ruler of the Queen B's who feels that Pine Grove is her own personal kingdom. Although a member of the clique, Sally, played by Devine, is a free spirit who bonds with Helen (Burstyn) and Margot, played by Ann-Margret, is a bombshell looking for husband number six. Joining the team is Arthur, played by Lloyd, a new resident loving the ladies' attention.

Ann-Margret is a five-time Golden Globe-winner, Primetime Emmy Award-winner and has been nominated for two Academy Awards, two Grammys, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and six Emmy Awards. She was most recently seen in the feature film Going in Style starring Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin.

Curtin appears in the recently released, The Spy Who Dumped Me starring Mila Kunis, Kate McKinnon and Justin Theroux. She has also appeared in films such as The Heat starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy and the cult comedy Coneheads. Curtin served as one of the original cast members on "SNL" and also starred in "3RD Rock from the Sun."

Christopher Lloyd is known for his portrayal of scatterbrain Dr. Emmett L. "Doc" Brown in the Back to The Future films, crazy Taber in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest and Uncle Fester in Adams Family Values. He won two Prime Time Emmy awards for the hit TV show "Taxi." Most recently, he starred alongside Michael Caine and Ann-Margret in the hit comedy Going in Style.

Loretta Devine won the Primetime Emmy Award for her performance as Adele Webber on the hit ABC series "Grey's Anatomy." Devine has starred in over 60 feature films in a career spanning four decades, with credits including Tyler Perry's For Colored Girls, Death at a Funeral, Waiting To Exhale, Disney's Beverly Hills Chihuahua, Academy Award-winning drama Crash, and I Am Sam starring Sean Penn, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Dakota Fanning.

Emmy Award-winner Michael Lembeck will direct. Donald Martin wrote the screenplay based on a story by Harrison Powell, inspired by his grandmother's own experience of moving into a retirement community.

Astute Films' Harrison Powell, Dominique Telson and Fred Bernstein will produce. Rick Jackson and Claudine Marrotte are executive producing.

"We are thrilled this amazing cast will be telling this story which is an homage to people of all ages who still believe in love" says Telson. "Many people we have met while developing this project have their own Welcome to Pine Grove! stories, and our hope is to inspire many more."

Astute Films is a privately-funded motion picture financing and production company based in Los Angeles. Rick Jackson and Fred Bernstein created Astute Films to facilitate the production of movies that both entertain and matter - movies like Welcome to Pine Grove! Astute Films' next release is The Best of Enemies, starring Academy Award-nominee Taraji P. Henson and Academy Award-winner Sam Rockwell; STX Entertainment is releasing.

Ann-Margret is represented by ICM Partners and AM Productions & Management. Curtin is represented by ICM Partners. Lloyd is represented by The Gersh Agency and Andrew Freeman, Personal Management. Devine is represented by Innovative Artists and Essential Talent Management.
