On the heels of a monster-performing May, Animal Planet springs toward summer with sky-high weekend performances, propelling Animal Planet toward its Best Week Ever in Prime among key demos, including 1.1M P2+ viewers, 772K HH, 300K M25-54 and 288K M18-49. The season debut of fan-favorite Call of the Wildman captured a series record 1.9M P2+ viewers, and newcomers Treehouse Masters and Top Hooker each surpassed one million P2+viewers (1.3M, 1.2M) with its premieres.

The June 2 premiere of Call of the Wildman ranks among Animal Planet's top-three series telecasts of all time among P2+ viewers, coming only behind last Monday's River Monsters finale and tied with the show's "Killer Catfish" episode. The Call of the Wildman premiere, "Mama Llama Drama," achieved series highs among all demos, including 1.2M HH, 890K P18-49, 882K P25-54, 499K M18-49, 471K M25-54 and 411K W25-54. The episode also resonated strongly among children, delivering 343K Kids 2-11 and achieving a 1.1 rating.

Kicking off the weekend, the Friday, May 31 Treehouse Masters series debut, "Twenty-ton Texas Treehouse" raked in a Texas-sized audience and performed strongly among all key demos, including 924K HH, 607K P25-54, 516K P18-49, 355K M25-54 and 252K W25-54. The premiere helped Animal Planet rank as the #3 ad-supported cable network (excluding movies) in the timeslot among the Persons and Men 25-54 demos.

Coupled with the season premiere of CALL OF THE WILDMAN, the Sunday, June 2 series-premiere performance of Top Hooker helped Animal Planet rank as the #5 ad-supported cable network in the night among M25-54, excluding movies and sports. The episode, "The Oldest Profession," baited 736K HH, 681 P25-54, 661K P18-49, 403K M25-54 and 392K M18-49.
