Animal Planet up +5% Among Adults 25-54 in 1Q18 vs. 1Q17
Network Posts Gains Each Month During 1Q18 Among Adults 18-49-
During 1Q18, Animal Planet achieved its highest rated quarter in Prime Time among Adults 25-54 in almost two years (2Q16). Prime Time viewership was also up double-digits (20%) among Total Viewers P2+ during 1Q18 vs. 4Q17. Additionally, Animal Planet showed growth each month during 1Q18 among Adults 18-49.
1Q18 programming highlights included PUPPY BOWL XIV which was the highest-rated PUPPY BOWL ever (1.49) among Adults 25-54 and it was up a whopping 30% in ratings vs. PUPPY BOWL XIII in 1Q17. Other highlights included an all new season of THE ZOO which averaged 1.2 million viewers during the quarter; PIT BULLS & PAROLEES which averaged 1.1 million; THE VET LIFE which averaged 935,000 viewers and NORTH WOODS LAW and LONE STAR LAW which averaged 890,000 viewers and 853,000 viewers, respectively, during the quarter.
