Deadline.com reports that actress Angelina Jolie is "having a conversation or two" about directing the upcoming film adaptation of the best selling novel FIFTY SHADES OF GREY.
Universal Pictures recently won a seven-figure auction to adapt the three books in the series into movies. The studio has denied that there has been any discussion with Jolie about the prospect of her directing the film, but they do concede that if the actress showed interest in the project, they would be interested as well. Studio execs were reportedly impressed with the actesses directorial debut 'In The Land of Blood and Honey.'
Jolie is currently working on her next film, 'Maleficent', a Disney adaptation of Sleeping Beauty. Meanwhile, FIFTY SHADES author E.L. James and her agent, Valerie Hoskins, will soon arrive in Hollywood to find a producer, writer and filmmaker for the upcoming project.
