An Inspiring Story About Pursuit Of American Dream Comes To Telemundo With Premiere Of MI FAMILIA PERFECTA

Telemundo announced the premiere of its new original production "Mi Familia Perfecta (My Perfect Family)," on Monday, April 9 at 8pm/7c. The contemporary series stars Jorge Luis Moreno, Sabrina Seara, Gala Montes, returning to the network after leaving their mark in the hit Super Series™ "El Señor de los Cielos," and renowned actress Laura Flores as "Irma Solis." "Mi Familia Perfecta" tells the story of the Guerreros, five siblings in pursuit of the American Dream who are trying to make it in the U.S. on their own after their father dies and their mother is deported to Mexico. THE FAMILY will need to unite as one to conquer the various obstacles and situations immigrants in the United States face.

Dysfunctional but always united, the five siblings, "El Patas" (Moreno), Rosa (Laura Chimaras), Marisol (Montes), Julián (Gabriel Tarantini) and Lili (Ainhoa Paz), will have to watch as their mother, Irma (Flores), makes the painful decision to leave them behind in Houston when she finds out she will be deported to Mexico. From that moment on, the Guerreros will have to stick together to overcome the many hurdles faced by immigrant families in the United States as they struggle to reach the American dream. Along the way, they'll find support from Erika Ramirez (Seara), a social worker who takes on the family's case, and Santiago Velez (Mauricio Henao), a women's soccer coach who discovers Marisol's talent as a soccer player. Her passion for the sport will help ignite her siblings' determination to keep fighting for their dreams no matter what obstacles they face along the way.

The Telemundo production is an original story by José Vicente Spataro and directed by Tony Rodriguez, Ricardo Schwarz and Otto Rodriguez, with José Gerardo Guillén ("El Señor de los Cielos," "La Fan," "Sangre de mi Tierra") as executive producer.

"Mi Familia Perfecta" includes the stellar participation of Sonya Smith, Coraima Torres, Karla Monroig, Juan Pablo Shuk and Natasha Dominguez, with special appearances by Daniela Navarro, Beatriz Monroy, Roberto Plantier, Jose Guillermo Cortines, Veronica Schneider and Francisco Rubio. Additionally, the cast includes Rodrigo de la Rosa, Laura Vieira, Estefany Oliveira, Enrique Montaño, Paulina Matos, Michelle Taurel, Michelle De Andrade, Ana Wolfermann, Jerry Rivera, Diego Herrera and Matheo Cruz.
